  • I'm so unused to his Scottish accent... I was so used to his Doctor Who voice. XD

  • There actually was a "the two doctors" serial. It's with Colin Baker and Patrick Troughton. There's never been a "the four doctors" though (not counting the audioplay), but if we have to wait for that one we'll also have to wait for the twelfth doctor.

  • @tdkzero says you...

  • @bandboy11111 Yes I do...

  • @tdkzero I like Tennant, and Smith. I found him quite enjoyable, and funny... And I respect your opinion, but who would you want as the Dr. Sure he may have not been a Tom Baker or one of the others, but he was funny and just great in my standers. Why is he a "sh*t Doctor" (Also please try not to swear, there may be kids reading these.)

  • OMG, I've become one of those annoying fans who cringe when someone calls the Doctor "Doctor Who". Danm me...

  • Tennant was my first Doctor and an unforgettable one at that. I like how each Doctor brings some freshness with them, Smith has been great, for instance. Still, I think Tennant holds the hearts and expectations of many a Doctor Who fan.

  • A female Doctor? That would just be awkward!!! The Doctor must forever be male!

  • i wouldn't mind if he stays forever.

  • "its not like we have 1 big party"

hmmm sounds like your hiding something David

  • I'll never forget you David Tennant i'll miss you... I won't ever stop watching your seasons

  • DAVID TENNANT YOU ROCK! You'll always be my Doctor Who!

    =D

  • There is still a version of the Tenth Doctor in the other dimension, I would love an episode where the Eleventh Doctor goes back there and meets the Tenth

  • after watching how many male doctors it would be akward to see the doctor as a female

  • I think he only agreed to do Doctor Who to work with Russell T. Davies--when Russell left to go do the American version of Torchwood, Tennant bowed out.

  • I feel like the doctor can only be a male, but it would be exciting to see a female doctor

  • i miss David Tennant... he was a perfect Doctor... he will always be my Doctor :)

  • Matt Smith is awesome and all, but David Tennant will be my Doctor probably for ever.

  • WTH can I find a video of David Tennant where a fan ask to ruffle his hair? It's all over tumblr & David says something like well I'm glad I'm behind a desk! Or something along thosenlines?

  • @cristygreene search 'David tennant can I ruffle your hair?'

  • Why Tennant why.... Smith is good but i mean WHY!?

  • The one thing I expect from the Final Doctor (either the 12th or 13th depending on whether or not the Metacrisis Doctor counts as a regeneration) Is to see each and every one of the Doctor's previous incarnations make some kind of appearance. Either flashback, a photo, appearance, or any combination of these

  • Each Doctor has a different appealing to public, I feel there is no "greatest of all times" kind of thing, but a series that lives up to the expectation of many generations! That is a great achievement. I personally like Tom Baker better, but that is because I grew up with that incarnation.

  • I like David Tennant as an actor better, but honestly I kind of think Matt Smith is better in his Doctor role. He's more fun, more bouncy, and a lot more eccentric. Tennant played a much more DYNAMIC Doctor, but Smith is a bit more fun.

  • good lord his accent ahh

  • @katherine9997 OMG. I KNOW.

  • The guy (not David Tennant) kept calling the Doctor, "Doctor Who". Gahhh. And now I really really really miss David Tennant.

  • Oh God, I miss him so much. I feel like it's a different show now without him. New TARDIS, new screwdriver, new opening theme, new logo, new companions, new head writer, new Doctor. Everything's different and while I still love Doctor Who, I miss the old days to bits.

  • scottish accent <3

  • David Tennant is my favorite doctor and honest I want to go back again to be his doctor is a great actor Matt is also good but not as David ..... However David is the best doctor ever

  • Many people would have been happy if he'd never left, though.

  • he was the best

  • HOLY SCOTTISH!

  • I love Matt Smith to pieces but it's hard not to wish David had never stopped because he was just so perfect. But I suppose it works better this way since I can't imagine David having the same chemistry with Amy and Rory or River like Matt does.

  • BUT HE'S MY FAVE DOCTOR!

  • all I want to hear right now is that he's gonna come back.... either that or the sound of the TARDIS arriving outside my bedroom window and the tenth doctor stepping out

  • HE WAS MY FAVOURITE! I'LL NEVER LIKE MATT SMITH AS MUCH AS I LIKED DAVID! HE NEVER OVER STAYED HIS WELCOME! HE WAS BRILLIANT! He'll always be my favourite doctor. I hope that he sees this :('

  • and his frickin accent...g'ahhh..i think im in love

  • awww <3

my favorite doctor..and death eater ;)

  • I had no idea David Tennant was Scottish!!!

  • David Tennant floating the idea of Billie Pipper playing the next Doctor.....the Rose hate squad must be eating their own hats =)

  • doctor, in the words of yourself."Oh your so Scottish!"

  • There needs to be an episode where Matt Smith meets David Tennant...two doctors, one episode.

Can you imagine the fangirl/fanguy squealing now?

  • @ChelseCreek84 Throw in Christopher Eccleston and the entire Doctor Who fan base will Fangasm. THREE doctors? Wow.

  • @ChelseCreek84 can you hear them yelling THATS NOT FUCKING POSSIBLE PARADOX, PARADOXES EVERYWHERE

  • @ChelseCreek84 The Ninth Doctor said that if you meet yourself, all of time will collapse and nothing would've ever had existed.

  • @nigahiga68 But in old series of Doctor Who, there was an episode with three doctors in it. I'm not sure exactly what happened, but life went on, didn't it? Anyways, in Doctor Who anything can happen, and you never really say goodbye.

  • @ChelseCreek84 I remember that episode, and I never really understood how the universe never collapsed.

  • @ChelseCreek84 They've actually done alot of that in the old renditions of Doctor Who... I wanna see 9 through 11 in one episode!!!

  • @ChelseCreek84 i think that would be possible.. where the parallel universe has a problem again then the 11th doctor will meet the human 10th doctor... cool!!!

  • @ChelseCreek84 Yeah, like maybe he goes back in time and sees his past self? That'd be cool.

  • @ChelseCreek84 2013 50th Anniversary Multidoc Special coming up.

  • @KingLofiOne I hope sooooo!!!!

  • @ChelseCreek84 Watch the deleted scene in Human Nature where he's giving Martha information. He mentioned by name someone named Rory. probably a coincidence though it could be a precursor to a crossover. They've done at least three crossovers before so let's hope :D

  • @Dartpaw86 Oh yes I have seen that part. I about exploded. I mean, true, it might have easily just been someone behind the scenes, but really, no true fan is going to believe that :)

  • @ChelseCreek84 Lol!

  • @ChelseCreek84 Well, there was an episode where the first 3 doctors met. Maybe they'll do that with the first 3 doctors of the NEW series (The episode I'm talking about is obviously called "The Three Doctors" and it IS on Netflix if you have it...

  • RIP doctor #10!!!!

  • "I think The Doctor could be anything"

And that is why we have Doctor Whooves.

Man I'm going to miss David Tennant! He will always be my Doctor!

  • @Orlliv god i love this comment

  • @Orlliv That's funny you mentioned that....I drew a picture on Deviant Art of Tony Tony Chopper from One Piece dressed as the 4th Doctor, and named him Dr. Whoove. :D

  • I dont want him to go.

    :(

  • My first doctor </3

  • The only good thing about Tennant leaving and closing the door on the 10th Doctor was keeping out Billie Piper and her god awful character Rose Tyler. She was always trying to get in the Doctor's pants, whined and cried when he became the 10th doctor, and was almost more useless then Donna was in the first episode she was in: The Runaway Bride.

  • i will freaking cry right now((((((((((( he was SUCH a good doctor and no Matt Smith can change that. He will always stay in my heart, as I'm sure he will stay in somebody else's. I WILL MISS YOU DAVID TENNANT! <3

  • NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • To be, or not to be the doctor. That is the question. Whether 'tis Nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous perfection in such a role, or take arms against a sea of doctor mourners, and by opposing them, break fans' hearts. To quit-to work no more, and by quit we mean to vacation somewhere sunny, and avoid the heartache of the thousand natural shocks a whovian is heir to 'tis a consummation devoutly to be wished. To sit. To sleep. To dream. Ay, there's the rub.

  • @AntiChristAntiFail That was beautiful.........I cried......not only from that, but because he left......he was my favorite, but we can't change him leaving.... :'(

  • I had no idea he was Scottish o.o

  • WTH?!?!?!?!

  • HES SCOTTISH?!

  • I have a theory, since the universe is infinite thats means that somewere out in the infinitly expanding universe there HAS to be galifrey and the docter.

  • Y u leave :,(

  • Oh my gosh. I love hearing actors' usual speaking voices when they play roles with a different accent for a long time. This is even better than when Hugh Laurie drops the American accent. xD

  • what if the next doctor was the "Daniel Radcliff"

  • @rawrizanthony Sounds like an awesome idea! Or Rupert Grint-- finally, a ginger doctor!

  • @rawrizanthony then i can die happy.. :)

  • @rawrizanthony then i would forget doctor who completely but thanks to moffat and matt doctor who lives on. basically NO DANIEL RADCLIFF!!!

  • @tardis421 good grammer there.

  • His answer doesn't really make any sense unless he was starting to be unwelcome, or he thought the show was going to shit. There's clearly more to this. Maybe a dispute over pay? Maybe he thought the new writer is shit? His pat reply that you should leave what you love while it's still going great doesn't really wash unless he expected it to stop being great by next season.

  • ^___^ :D xx

  • I still cant look at David Tennant without thinking of Doctor Who. I'm still waiting for him to pull out a sonic screwdriver and jump in a police box.

  • Three people can not appreciate the dedication to a show it takes for someone to give up their dream role because they respects the show too much to overstay their welcome. <3 RESPECT THE TENNANT, PEOPLE.

  • @SetFireGirl They obviously disliked because David Tennant quit. Not because the don't appreciate the dedication to the show.

  • He's SCOTISH!!???

    Sweeeeet!!! XD

  • @wilderulz yeah he wanted to use his scottish accent on the show but was told they don't want the doctor "roming the regins"

  • I hate this guy. Here is my description of an ideal man:

    Scottish accent

    Brown hair

    Wears waistcoats

    Way too old for me

    Grrrrr... So... sexy...

  • 3:18

"Who knows what might happen in the future?"

    Umm...duh.

  • @NinjaBeatle I actually lol'd at this. Nice ;)

  • David tennant is so awesome!! he is my favorite doctor!! luv u david!!

  • I only just started (and finished) the new Doctor Who series and I miss you already, I don't think a later Doctor should be a girl because it wouldn't make sense, the Doctor regenerates to cheat death not to change his gender, also even if they writers some how make the Doctor a girl she could never fill the role of David Tennant

  • @TheAllgamer007 accept its established canon that they regenerate through genders.

  • So great hair...

  • WHAT!!!!!! his accent!!!!! wooooah

  • I don't know if I believe anything he says. There had to be a few serious reasons and somewhere, someone, he had to not be comfortable. Money, wirtter, etc. Just once, I'd like someone to be honest and I don't think he's being that. I would respect him if he said, "I'm worn out" or "For as popular as it is, I think I deserve more money." But he probably can't because who'd hire him if they know he'd not be politically correct. And just maybe he's bored and wants something new. Good luck I say.

  • @Songsmirth Of course there is always that one person who just can't take things for what they are and insists there has to be some sort of conspiracy.

  • I MISS YOU DAVID!!!!!!! <3 <3 <3

  • oh wow.

    dat accent.

  • i will always remember david tennant as barty crouch jr :D

  • doctor who. the show where you WILL regonice the actors. hes just like the tenth doctor, and his just being normal!

  • lol

  • He was a good Doctor.

  • every two seconds i stop the video and laugh. he is just soo scottish! i love it! that accent will never get old

  • oh my, his "weeeell!" at the beginning <3

  • I like his accent. Why did he mask it for the show?

  • @ShadowTheHedgehog228 they didnt want his accent "touring around the region". i agree though, his accent is brilliant.

  • awe..... didnt mean to post twice

  • I love David Tennant, And do miss him. I never understood Doctor Who as a child, but watching David's rendition of The Doctor and his quirky animated acting and explaination of Time and Space and watching the mindbenders of Doctor Who eposodes.....How BRILLIANT! I get it now! I am now thoroughly addicted to Doctor Who. It is a drink I can't and refuse to put down! Ok Matt do Doctor with Justice!!!

  • It wasn't just David Tennant as The Doctor, this guy really is a great actor!

  • Im telling you, if i was gay i would do him. Serious <3

  • 3:16

"Who knows what might happen in the future."

    Says the former Timelord.

I am NOT used to hearing that kind of talk from him. xD

  • can i go to the world where he decided to not stop playing the doctor? i mean sure it will rip a whole in the universe and such...but damn it...he's just such a great doctor.

  • I wish he could've used his regular accent for all of the series since I love Scottish accents. He only used it in one episode.

  • David Tennant is my favorite doctor... Because I think he looks cool AND is funny :)

  • Hey. No need to fight. Just have a threesome.

  • matt smith is great and all... hes a doctor... but david is THE best... hes THE doctor

  • @johndnumber3

    Well said...

  • He seemed really good at the time, but looking back now he was pretty not-really-that-good.

  • @pinstripedpants01 clearly you're an idiot

  • @ollielegend14 As clearly as are you.

  • @ollielegend14 No, he just tells HIS opinion... Not everyone likes David Tennant...

    But ehh... I do :P

  • 0:35 His Voice :D SO SCOTTISH *Faints*

    Hes... Indescribable!

he makes Vests look sexy :)

Man i miss David he was the best besides Tom Baker

Please go in a feature Film.

LOL he had to say that sentence? "shes busy breastfeeding at the moment but i'm sure she'll bounce back"

    Hes Amazing thats ALL.

  • I'M SOBBING! I'M GONNA DIE! :'(

  • he is second in the dr who shows.he is the close to tom acting-funny like tom.y/n

  • Anyone else find it odd that a lifelong Doctor Who fan has yet to correct these people that keep calling the character "Doctor Who?"

  • @sternbergzookie Or that Chris Eccleston was credited as "Doctor Who" in the closing credits during his entire run!

  • @sternbergzookie Actually, in Classic Who, the people who played the Doctor were introduced by saying, "Dr. Who as..." I know the name doesn't really make sense, but I can understand why people refer to the character as Doctor Who instead of just the Doctor.

  • @Kuraiification I've heard various reasons, and I understand but still...it irks me. Sort of like "Tardis." It. Is. An. Acronym.

  • @sternbergzookie Originally, the character was named Doctor Who.

  • Okay, I had to leave my first doctor. Who then regenerated into David. I knew david was good considering how long he was the doctor. But this is to far. After watching all of the David episodes I'm done watching doctor who cause once I get attached to Matt he will regenerate again.

  • my fave was 9nth but i still loved the 10th, though my family said he looked too much like charlie sheen and looked to insane

  • Why did you skip the best of Davids parts as the doctor???

  • The best Doctor... And loves my other best Doctor.... Peter Davison.... That's what i grew up with.....

  • The 10th was the best!

And whoever disagrees gets a slap in the face!

  • @madneo87 David Tennant was amazing but the 4th Doctor was amazing too!

  • I love you, David Tennant!!! <3 <3 <3

  • Good for Tennant leaving while still in spotlight light. I'd do that aswell , so that way over the years he would'nt have people saying he was the best doctor at the start but then, grew Rubbish he should be replaced. well at least we got Matt Smith. We can still go online and watch the episodes again some times on telly too! some have the box sets. Good luck!

  • Hold on - did he just say, "-overstay my welcome." Overstay his welcome?! That wouldn't be possible. Now, I like Matt Smith (his birthday is also my wedding anniversary), but David Tennant is (and always will be) my favorite Doctor!! ("Allon-sy!!)

  • "well"

  • I remember watching all the trailers for the Einstein and Eddison film. I read literally everything on it, because it was DAVID TENNANT. Then... I forgot.

  • wtf!!! he isnt british???

  • @Tvteya

Haha, yeah he's Scottish. You actually got to hear his real accent in the episode Tooth and Claw.

  • Not to belabor the point, but I really miss David Tennant. Matt Smith is good and funny and quirky. But the 10th Doctor was more I think. Hell he fell in love with Rose. I hope they do a Doctor reunion, like the Five Doctors.

  • i still miss him!!!

  • It took me a while to realize he didn't have his sideburns anymore. I liked those, that made me sad. He's kind of the reason I grew sideburns.

  • If I met him, I'd stab him for leaving before at least five seasons.

  • Dangit David!!! You're still my favorite!!! I love you!!!!!! You shouldn't've lefttttttt!!!!!!!!!

  • He was on for 3 season. season 2 to 4, 5 and 6 was matt smith.

  • Awe,come on, I needed the weather report, I'm flying to BBC to see David!!!!!!!!

  • The Scottish accent... my god. <3

  • @ThisbyBooks i know.. i know

  • I wish Christopher stayed a bit longer, he was my fav one.

  • @intheshitter Glad to finally find a person who agrees with me

  • @intheshitter he is a terrible person. he was supposed to be in for 3 seasons, but he quit after only one!

  • @Weirdo2107 He quit because he didn't want to be a type cast.

  • I told my girlfriends the other night that if I had to have sex with some guy, I would choose Tennant... and she got angry at me because she wanted to have sex with him too. xD

    This man... is awesome!

  • @villanelo1987 Have a threesome, problem solved.

  • @villanelo1987 Hey She should not be angry... you three could have an awesome threeway XD

  • Comment removed

  • 12 doctor should be a female

  • @WarriorElf54

Good idea..I'd like Martha Jones as a Time Lord..

  • @Antares070 remind me which tv shows and movies she is in again

  • I have a man crush for David

  • I wish he literally never left...

  • If Billy Piper became the next doctor, it would be the Matt Smith intro all. over. again.

  • Oh, David, you could never outstay your welcome! =D He's so silly!

  • There's no need for alternate worlds or the Tenant clone. When Peri and Jame didn't understand how the Colin Baker and Patrick Troughton doctors could be in the same place at the same time, the Doctor explained "When you travel around as much as I do, it's almost inevitable that you'll run into yourself."

  • I think he should've stayed for one more series, he should've had a go with the new set and writing. Even if he weren't with amy and rory it'd be fine.

  • David and Karen would be too much for my laptop. Too much sexy for one screen, honestly...

  • he could come back as rose's doctor

  • Really autocorrect? Smothers? I meant Smith.
