I just watched The Smiling Lieutenant and felt Miriam Hopkins ran away with the film. She is brilliantly beyond what other comedic actresses where doing at the time. She also ran away with my heart--a truly gifted performer. Thank you for this lovely tribute.

@AvaRitaGrace I know. She made a lot of great movies. When people push past what is shoved in their face, they will discover greats like Ms. Hopkins.
