As a die hard Spurs fan, this was a memorable series and my favorite series of all time. Perhaps the most classiest beatdown in NBA history. Spurs didn't taunt the Lakers for a second. They finished with class. As much as I don't like the Lakers, I respect them so much because they have never been sore losers. That season, they knew the Spurs were the better team and were on a mission to retire David Robinson a champion.

Parker made so many bad decisions this game. I really believe the Spurs should have won 2 or 3 more rings..(2004, 2006, 2008?, 2010?), but this game looks so scripted. The Spurs were soooo good! They were also very unlucky. 2001, I believe it was Stephen Jackson that got injured. I think the Spurs would've beaten the Lakers that year. They had an answer for any team whether a running team or a halfcourt team, they had the tools to beat the hell outta you when it mattered. Dallas fans talk about Dirk going down LOL, the frontcourt of the Spurs dominated that year though and they had no SHOT! THEY STOLE game one with the Spurs up 14 in the 4th and lost two in a row after that with DIRK, should have been down 3-0 easily. Spurs were that GOOD.

As a die hard Spurs fan, this was a memorable series and my favorite series of all time. Perhaps the most classiest beatdown in NBA history. Spurs didn't taunt the Lakers for a second. They finished with class. As much as I don't like the Lakers, I respect them so much because they have never been sore losers. That season, they knew the Spurs were the better team and were on a mission to retire David Robinson a champion.

After watching this game...(7+ years after the fact) I realize the Spurs won this game and those championships in spite of Tony Parker. He was here and continues to be a selfish player. Parker made so many bad decisions this game. I really believe the Spurs should have won 2 or 3 more rings..(2004, 2006, 2008?, 2010?), but this game looks so scripted. It's as if the Lakers didn't even play hard. I'm no fan of Kobe Bryant, but he's a far superior player than he showed this game. This looks phony.

The Spurs were soooo good! They were also very unlucky. 2001, I believe it was Stephen Jackson that got injured. I think the Spurs would've beaten the Lakers that year.
