So you have an accent? seriously I don't think Australians have accents. (being Australian myself.) But when I went to Sydney a few years in a row, I did notice people in NSW use different slang to those of us in VIC. had this maths teacher i had in 1st term yr 10 who would yell at us "for not listening to the words coming out of my face" (yes she sed that) if we asked her a question about the work that she had given us. She was a large greek woman & would end up yelling at us in greek mixed with english, which i always kinda found amusing cos about 5 of the kids in class could understand her, us non greek kids would ask them "whats she saying" "trust us, u dont wanna know" :-p
