Aggressive Perfector. Slayer's first original song. Still sounds so damn awesome. I'm so glad they're playing this on their 2010 tour. Sounded incredible live a few months ago. All hail SLAYER!!! 3 decades of aggression now and counting!
I gotta say, it takes a lot of talent for Tom to be able to be playing blazing fast bass licks and wailing at the same time. I could never do it, even though I only play drums. :o
"500 thrash and death metal Riffs" ALL uploaded now. 41 parts. 6 1/2 hours of Riffs! Keeping Thrash Metal Alive.....Lots of Slayer Riffs. Check out parts 7,21,24,25,26,28,34,40,41
The Ultimate Live Band! Wow, this is old but brilliant.
I remember seeing this band playing support to Exodus. They came out in eye makeup, black leather, spikes and using upside down crosses ala Jimmy Page. That was two days before my birthday in Jan. '84! Seeing them and Exodus blew my fucking mind! Holy Shit!
what a fucking scream, he had it back then, this is a wierd vid for me to watch looking back at slayer nowadays and then watching this. I assume their look back then on stage was very different.
I just noticed that this is the Woodstock Club(I think). You can google this club and see old fliers from shows there. The Woodstock is no longer open.
This show had Bitch as the Headliner, and Savage Grace opened. Ron Cordy told me Bitch was going to blow Slayer off the stage, but I knew he was talking out of his ass..
not that much , i mean in 80s they were pretty badass and they scared the shit out of people with their stage presence. Nowadays , they're like one of the pioneers of Thrash Metal and they fucking rock. I hope you got my point :\
I googled slayer 1984 tour dates a month ago successfully and I tried it again right now and I couldn't find any. I remember seeing that in 1984 and 1985 they played the Country Club in Reseda (L.A.) 3 different times. This looks to be at the Roxy becuase the Troubador and Whisky a Go Go are a little smaller than this club and the Hollywood Palladium is bigger than this club. In 1986 they played the Olympic Auditorium in Downtown L.A. and 1987 and 1988 thet played the Hollywood Palladium in L.A.
it might have been the roxy though.... hmmm. damn memory. oh, whisky and weed.
