  • Cant have a Racist for president....

Guy runs away from his job

Gas is Crazy... Russia is Crazy

Well we cant be crazy and elect this jerk...

He has turned his backs on us too many times and he isnt even president yet... I dont want to see what he would do with real power..

The guy is just not right for president...

  • DO NOT VOTE FOR BARACK OBAMA! every time i see a supporter talking on the news or getting a exited about a crazy muslim who wants to tax your ass and your children.. And destroy america i die a little inside and want to leave this country..

  • a call for the UN to intercede is funny. Russia is on the Security council of the UN and has full veto power.

  • UN peacekeepers are useless, if they weren't a lot of the world's conflicts could be solved. What we need is to tell both forces to pull, while the world supervises. Then after hearing both sides of the story, we will make an OBJECTIVE and IMPARTIAL investigation and make our decisions based on evidence, not on propaganda.

  • You mentioned Darfur. Let me note that Darfur covers an area of some 493,180 square kilometers (190,420 sq mi) — approximately the size of Spain.

  • Dear MountOlivet:

Are you trying to say that the U.N peace keepers are not enough for assignment in Tskhinvali region, which is one and a half times the area of Luxembourg?! So called South Ossetia covers an area of about 3,900 kmon the southern side of the Caucasus, separated by the mountains from the real Ossetia - Alania(part of Russia).

Luxemburg - is about 2,586 square kilometres (998 sq mi) in size.

  • I believe that Obama has made the right call on Georgia. He wants to talk to Georgia and Russia and then get the U.N. involved. McCain wants to go straight to the U.N. McCain's proposal for sending peacekeepers into South Ossetia is impractical because U.N. peacekeepers stretched thinly. There aren't enough peacekeepers for Darfur and so how could there be enough for South Ossetia. The U.S. should act as a mediator in talks between Russia and Georgia and see if the conflict can be settled.

  • Dear All:

Unlike most of you, I am on both sides of the fence. Unlike most of you, I also know something of what I am talking about.

  • unlike you you dont even know shit ..

your a sheep of the new world order!!!

    you dont know anything yet..

this is the beggining of world war 3

    you wont believe me!!!!!!

    BETTER BELIEVE ME!!!!!!!!

its going out off hand ....

we will see welcome to world war 3

  • Those sympathetic to Georgia can point out the hypocrisy of Russia brutally suppressing separatism in Chechnya while fostering it in South Ossetia and Abkhazia. But others recall the parallels the Russians continually emphasized over Kosovo with the breakaway regions of the Georgian state that have enjoyed de facto independence since the early 1990s.

  • History Repeats: Background Information about so called South Osetia and Soviet Invasion in Georgia.

  • FACT: South Ossetia is part of Georgia, as every country on earth recognises. You cannot invade your own country.

The region, which is one and a half times the area of Luxembourg[34] (roughly 6% of the total territory of Georgia) broke away from Georgia in the 1991--1992 war .

  • The Osetians are originally descendants of the Alans. They became Christians during the early Middle Ages, under Georgian and Byzantine influences. Under Mongol rule, they were pushed out of their homeland south in present-day Republic of Alania (north Caucasus) under Russian rule from 1767.

  • Another part of Osetians migrated towards and over the Caucasus mountains, to Georgia in the central region of Georgia - Shida Kartli -- Under rule of the Georgian Royal Dynasty Bagrationi. Little part of Osetians also moved to in Western Georgian Kingdom -- Imereti, Rulled by another branch of Bagrationi Dynasty.

Georgians always lived in the region even 2000 years before the Alans/Ossetian arrival there in the 14th-17th centuries as well as after newcomers settled.

  • In 1801, During the Annexation of the Eastern Georgian Kingdom of Kartli-Kaxeti, Georgian villages populated by Osetians minority (current so called South Osetia) automatically become part of Tiflis (Tbilisi) Gubernia under Imperial Russia, since the territory where they lived was territory of the above mentioned Georgian Kingdom with the capital city in Tbilisi.

  • After occupation of Georgia by Soviet Russia in 1924 thi historic Georgian province Shida Kartli (central Georgia) became known as South Ossetia and the "South Ossetian Autonomous Oblast" (i.e. district) was formed.

  • Although South Ossetia had its own language (Ossetian), Russian and Georgian were administrative/state languages. At present, Russian is -- the only administrative language used by the separatist government of in Tskhinvali.

  • In the Soviet time, under the rule of Georgia's government, it enjoyed some degree of autonomy, including to practice (Osetian) language and teach it in schools.

  • Generally speaking, Georgians and Ossetians have been living in peace with each other except for the episodes in 1918--1920. Both ethnicities have had a high level of interaction and a high rate of intermarriages.

  • FACT: The South Ossetian "separatist regime" has nothing to do with the South Ossetian people. They are gang of self-appointed thugs who support themselves by violence and extortion. They are no more representative of the Ossetians than the IRA is representative of Catholics in Northern Ireland, who repeatedly cry "Not in Our Name!"

  • FACT: Russia is bombing civilian targets in Georgia which are nowhere near the conflict zone and have nothing to do with "defending South Ossetians". How do I know? My wife is stranded in a village to the east of the zone, hears the bombs, sees the planes flying over. Younger son was in Batumi until he ran home because the city was bombed. Let us see how many of you who claim Russia has humanitarian motives for its actions will come and get my wife out of that village.

  • FACT: Georgia has the right to retake its own territory from an illegal regime and Russia has no right to either intervene or bomb Georgia. If it happened in your country, you would all change your tune.

  • Lots of people have died in this war and a lot more will. Wait till your relatives are involved and then submit half-baked nonsense on the internet.

  • Direct talks?!? They are at war! Condemning the violation is one thing, but what if that conflict would affect us? What would Obama do? I am scared to even think what that would be - especially coming from a man that wants to cut military spending.

  • You mean get rid of our nukes, ask Russia to get rid of theirs and cancel all future military weapons development in the U.S.

I would be less than suprised if Obama was alot more Marx than he wants us to know.

You don't have Marxist freinds, coworkers and churches for most of your life and not know what the heck they are about.

That would be like Mr. and Mrs.Smith hanging out with crack heads for 20 years and saying,"Oh my they do drugs???I am shocked"

  • I have one word to describe Senator Obama's statement: PRESIDENTIAL

  • "...all sides to show restraint"???

Russia attacks Georgia and Georgia should also show restraint in defending itself? It's the same terrorist-coddling mantra we often hear from the State Department. History has show that any attempts to appease aggressors only leads to greater blood shed. Chamberlain and Hitler; Rabin/Peres and Arafat, to name a couple of examples.

  • he is extemely concerend about whats happening there/ that's some bullshit/ he cares only about his campaign

  • God i hate Obama. Hes a pussy that cant take a firm stand on international issues like this. Instead its "oh no im concerned about this." Go look what McCain has to say about this war, he has a FIRM stance and isnt afraid to say that Russia should get the hell out of Georgia, well not in those words.

  • Nato is helping Georgia but unsuccessfully.:))))

  • Hey Globalizator just how in the hell is NAYO helping Georgia? The have lifted a finger!

  • Democrat+Republican=same agenda YAHOO!!!thank Obama,YAHOO FOR THE NEW WORLD ORDER!!!

  • 4Love10: "Democrat+Republican=same agenda YAHOO!!!thank Obama,YAHOO FOR THE NEW WORLD ORDER!!!"

I agree with you, looks like we have one of the many puppets of the New World Order right here criticizing the recent conflict between Georgia and Russia which is a creation of the illuminati's New World Order agenda. And we have sheeps in here cheering for Obama. All of the ignorant sheeps out there who doesn't or never even heard of the NWO is likely to call other people paranoid and freak ect.

  • Yup, if there was ever any doubt, Obama, by shilling a lie, utterly proves his globalist agenda ambitions here.

I drive around the city and read all these mindless idiots' bumper stickers/t-shirts that advertise Obama's communist 1 world gvt and just want to cry. These people have no idea. And even sadder, it seems like they don't even WANT to know. They're happy to be useful idiots to the banker globalists.

  • "Lapata999 (1 day ago) Show Hide +2 Marked as spam Reply | Spam Well maybe they shouldn't kill Russian peacekeepers , as far as I am concerned Russia has every right to level Georgia."

you stupid idiot.IF YOU CAN READ NON-RED-PROPAGANDA NEWS THEN YOU CAN SEE THAT OSETIAN SEPERASISTS STARTED TO KILL GEORGIAN BORDERMEN AND POLICES AND ASSAULTED GEORGIAN VILLAGES.SO GEORGIA STARTED TO PUT THEYR MOUTH SHUT.russia takes his "citizens" as excuse to get georgian gas and oil.

  • eestlane24h, Russia has much more oil and gas than Georgia. The amounts of these resources in Georgia are simply not worth of war. Besides why would Russia start a war so close to Sochi, where in 2014 winter Olimpics will be?

  • actually its like this. osetia belonged to georgia.the thing is that one day osetians just gained indepience with no aproval of the land real owners. its like russians flooding over border to USA to Georgia(state) example and try to gain indepience in your land .and russian media is just nonsence usual old soviet-propaganda. russia taked as excuse about theyr citizens.truth = grosnoi (tzetzenia) russians bombed whole city down yet it was full of russian citizens, somehow russia loves his"citizens

  • seems to have a hard time remembering what

    he was told to say

  • he is so smart

  • but he didn't told anything usefull

    ILLUMINATI

  • He should smoke less weed lawl

  • Ja! Is rusia the evil? .. that exists of the hospitals, houses destroyed in the war of Iraq?. Due to technical "faults" of the pentagon. Male prostitutes! The American government is the major creator of terrorists in the world. (Osama Bin laden, Hussein, etc). With the excuse of the freedom they riddle to the world

  • Any facts instead of bold accusations? I don't believe a single word, which is pronounced by Georgian government! Russia did bomb your military and infrastructure objects to stop the genocide against Ossetians. We have moral right to do this, especially after you lovely NATO masters bombed Belgrade under the same circumstances. I've seen a video that some civilian block in Gori was hit by bombs and some people were injured. This is the fact and I accept it.

  • im extremely concerned....uh..georgia territorial...oh..um...whats clear is that...ugg russia has invaded georgias soveriengty..umm..uh... are you serious? what happened to the amazing confidence in all those speeches he gave?

  • we never bombed you you bombed south osetia and abhazia

  • Apparently of you call something "terror" or say someone has weapons of mass destructions you can attack with impunity. So I say we call our health care system a terrorist organization, and Walmart a weapon of mass destruction for it's unfair trade promotion and anti-union stance.

  • Sweden's foreign minister has compared Russian policy to that of Adolf Hitler and Slobodan Milosevic.

Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski said: "The territorial integrity of Georgia is currently being violated on an enormous scale. There are bombardments, civilians are dying, foreign military forces are on Georgian territory."

Poland backs pro-western Georgia, supported by Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania in urging the EU and NATO to oppose Russia's "imperialist" policy, in a statement.

  • Any one who messes with Russia going to get destroyed period. Never knew Georgia had an army.

  • dude, are you kidding? US has the most advance military in the world today and they are on Georgia's side...

  • no buddy US sucks if you compare its military with Russia lol

  • Russian intelligence has advised the russian leadership that georgia has hidden weapens of mass destruction and terrorists.

So therefore russia will have to invade in order to protect itself from terrorists.

  • russsian intelligence?

    my ass.

& so what you're saing is that russia doesn't have hidden weapons of mass distruction and terrorists?

    yeah .... sure.

    hypocrites.

  • MY thoughts exactly russian intelligence?

Those mother fuckers have no intelligence thats a fucking oxymoron

Georgia is a western ally and NOT a terrorist country

  • russia is the evil!

  • looser

  • talk, talk, talk, change change change change

bla, bla, bla, bore me to death.

  • What is clear is that you know nothing about what you are talking about!

  • I wonder if he knows the facts?.. There may be 57,?? or 58?

  • Hahaha Obama is only a good speaker when he has weeks to study his speeches. This is a god awful public announcement. He would make a terrible president.

  • he didn't sound too commanding...."uh...ah...georiga....uh...ah...russia....um...um....resolve conflict...duh"

  • UnderseaCaveman, lol i've notices obama does say "uh ah blah blah blah uh ah"

  • wat about russians bombing georgia? ha about that u fucking bitch so shut the fuck up now u nazist!! russia = nazi!! putin = nazi leader in russia u shouls see russiian nazis videos on youtube!

  • word.

  • get the fuck out of georgian territory you russian pigg ,georgia is a free cantry and car putin wonts to invade it.

  • I for one hope that all the Russian soldiers who invaded Georgia get to run away in one piece, safe and sound - their burned tanks, however, will have to litter the landscape of South Ossetia for years to come.

  • ესმის კაცს.

  • Well maybe they shouldn't kill Russian peacekeepers , as far as I am concerned Russia has every right to level Georgia.
