  • This is certainally one way of doing it. Also search Monty Roberts and Linda Tellington Jones to see the same thing done without forced complaince

  • Very true but when you are someone else's time table and the horse really is dangerous to himself and the people then this is a very great way to get started.

  • that is cool !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • u need to tell me who this guy is and where i can find his other vids

  • @Mells36 His name is endospink and his program is called hybrid horsemanship.

  • trust me this method works.. iv tried it. the horse respects and trusts after lying down

  • Horses dont have to be abused to behave like this/ People tend to forget that they are wild animals when they are first born and then if we are lucky enough they let us tame them. This particular horse was a race horse... a very high strung one at that. The man in the video is performing the endorphine tap wich releases the horses endorphins when enough preasure is applied to a certian area of the animals mouth.

  • haha yeah i agree with the spooking. 2 comments before me.

you dont nessicaraly need a professional to come and hekp you with a spooky corner

  • well done good video. You've got a brilliant knowledge of horses in my opioion and i think thats great. The person who commented before and tryed to put the video down showing off are pathetic. Nice work

  • do you give advice on helping people with horses ?

  • what do you need help with?

  • well i have something i need help with...in my riding arena there is this corner that my horse spooks at almost everytime i ride her and there isnt even anything over there but a house and some ppl who live there is there anything i can do to get her to not spook over there? or just spook in general

  • my suggestion is to think ahead of her and before you get to that corner where she spooks to circle or some kind of action with her to keep her mind busy. keep her mind busy all the time when riding her in that spot. once you are able to distract her enough she should be fine and grow comfortable with that area of the thing

  • ok great thanks :)

  • WOW! You seem VERY defensive. However, in neither video did you mention YOUR qualifications, or even how long you have been around horses. Your video makes it look like you might be calling yourself a "Horse Behaviorist", but you don't say anything about yourself. How odd. And believe me, I am NOT the one making an "ass" of myself...

  • before you go around making assumptions did you ever once consider that this might be just a school project from hs.i didnt think so. you know i really cant stand ignorant ppl like you who go around talking shit on youtube......

  • ok so you want to know my qualifications?

ok well lets see.. i have worked for olympic trainers. and oh ya i have also been practicing this sport for 13 YEARS! I also work for a dressage barn and teach for an riding school. I have had more then my share of problem horses to deal with. I have also taken animal behavior classes in college. i have rescued horses and turned them into fabulous hunter horses.

  • Goodie for you. However, being in High School, how could you take college classes?

As for 13 years, I've been riding for 33.

And no, I don't go around and crap on people on You Tube. Just people who try to pass off something as if they are the one who is doing the training.

    Just an observation.

  • damn debbiesrf your pretty cocky.

this person works hard to mak this video and all you do is keep putting them down.

Hs students can take college classes in early college.

so just back the fuck off.

    dang.

  • THANK YOU!! Finally someone with a brain!!

  • haha no problem

  • Why aren't you using video of yourself? This is Paul AKA EndoSpink.

  • Because this was a school project a few years ago and he let me use his work... plus i am in parts of the video.. mind your own business

  • Wow. You can steal Endo's video, and post it under your name. Impressive. How does that make you a Horse Behaviorist exactly?

  • cool, I've never seen that done before. I don't think just anyone can do that to a big horse! He would kick my ass for sure!

  • If I believe correctly what they are doing to that horse is called "endotap".

  • That's definitely Endo!

  • hi, I have put my horses on the floor as a last resort. It worked just like it did in your video.cheers from mary in England

  • u drugged it

  • no we didnt

  • My horse did the same thing except it was when people were riding him-he doesn't do it anymore.

  • the horse wasnt drugged or anything. its the beautiful thing that happens when someoen who has a gift is placed in the presence of a crazy horse. it truely is amazing how much people have learned about horses in order to coax a horse into doing such a thing =]

  • Just for clarification, it's not the poster in this video! It's another man, you can check him out by typing in endospink!

Interesting concept .. not sure if I agree with it or not, but interesting.

  • Umm the chestnut horse (the leading) when horses do that u should jerk on the lead rope or use the end as a whip or act bigger than the horse like raise ur hands thats wut my instructer told me

  • sweet h

  • NEver are you supposed to do that. Jerking and whipping them will just make them head shy and/or unable to catch or handle. You don't want that do you?

  • where do you learn how to do that?

  • WHat song is that!?! And the video was awesomely made.

  • i reckon that horse was sedated or something along the lines of that

  • sedated.. naturally. its called the endorphin tap

  • what did you do to get that horse to do that? how does that help? it looks as though the horse is uncomfortable when u do that.

  • its called the endorphin tap.

  • finally some who knows:P

  • how did you get the horse to go down like that. at my agistment centre there is a horse that rears when being led past cars and when you try to mount him he leaps around and rears.

  • endorphin tap?

  • yep

  • Thank you. once again, I love the video...

  • welcome =]

  • Kudos to you. Absolutly brilliant. I am 13, and I have trained one horse at my barn this past 3 weeks to stop freaking out at these random things, and he's an angel to ride now ^^

  • well congrats im happy for you!

  • May i ask how u got that horse to its knees then to lie down? I dnt think u could have pushed it down, its far too strong for ya =/

  • you can train a horse to get down and lay. Its not hard, you need to know what your doing. For example; you have a horse rolling, you reward him and say roll everytime he does it and eventually he wil get the point and he wil roll on command, almost like a dog. awsome video by the way :]

  • thank you but the video wasnt about making the horse lay down it was about an endorphin tap

  • ....did you like...naturaly sidate that horse?? or something??

  • in a way yes

  • whats the song called?

  • knights of cydonia by muse

  • kl video but plscan u explain 2 me wot they were doin wiv da chestnut i didnt get it!

  • Alright here is the final version of my video. I hope you guys like it . Let me know what you think =]
