MW3 is actually MW2.5 which means yes noobtubing is still there but some perks were removed such as one man army, commando, stopping power and some other perks that I can't remember.....but still there is still noobtubing in MW3 trust me I've been noobtubed ever since I got the fucking game

The proper use of a grenade launcher: You are shooting at someone and then they run around a corner you pull out your grenade launcher then kill them instead of chasing them and risk getting killed.
no it shouldnt be removed they will not remove it......the host should be able to turn noobtube on/off i think that solution has a better chance of making it in the game :)
totally agree i like these games i think they are well done and thats why ppl play them , but quick scoping, noob tubing , spawn camping its really annoying and it stops the flow , il give MW3 a chance but if its just the same as MW2 im gonner pass and play somthing else
I haven't had trouble with tubes in a long time, you don't see tubers on the ps3 too much (except the trickshooters in snd). I have no problems with it. ANd they've decreased the damage that explosives do in mw3 so i don't see the a problem coming from tubes.
IMO, noobtubing COULD be kept, but with some serious restrictions, they inflict friendly fire, and you only get two a life, PERIOD. But it should just be removed. The way I see it, noobtubing should be used to simply hold back enimies until help comes or so that you can escape quickly and you have to move alot slower with the noobtube equipped, but thats just my opinion.
According to gamers like woodysgamertag hutch seananners etc at cod xp moo tubes were a hit marker even if they land on you foot and you don't have flak jacket. Like pwn I would rather take them out completely but at least now they are completely useless :D
I was thinking about a solution for noobtubes since IW refuses to remove noobtubes, maybe the M320 in MW3 could be a secondary only, no noobtube attachments on weapons, reload speed not affected by sleight of hand/quickdraw, and move slower with M320 out.

Well there are noobtubes in mw3 and aside from the m203 attachment we have 2 other noobtubes you have the xm23 which is an ADS lased target remote grenade launcher. theres also a one shot version of the china lake or thumper in terms of use i forget the name. The only one thing they can truly fix is to take out sacvenging detail for noobtubes like black ops did. also blast shield is also a perk now. but if u visit th wiki their equipment also helps alot theres more balance in mw3
I only Noob Tube when I find guns on the floor so far I have 103 kills with a GL in black Ops and Im 14th prestige. So that's less than an average noobtuber

Well u playing on steam eh are there servers where they ban certain weapons for mw2 on steam cuz I play on alteriw and noobtube is banned almost on every server which is AWESOME :3
Getting rid of grenade launchers is not the proper way to go about this problem I believe that the simplest solution is to have a match limit for grenades maybe set it at 4 and once the 4 have been used make it so that there is no way possible to acquire any more.

No way am I buying MW3. It looks just like MW2 with some new maps and perks. IW already had crappy support when they were a whole company. Imagine how long it will take the "new" IW collaboration to fix anything broken in MW3. Activision will collect another $100 Million on MW3 and laugh all the way to the bank.
I'll end up with MW3. I'm sure I will. The masses will buy it. It's going to be the only fun "Arcade style" FPS. BF3 is awesome, but it's a simulator and will require actual skill.
Noob tubing was to stop in Black Ops. I say there is more noob tubers in black Ops than in MW2 so it does not matter if they remove danger close or one man army. So I say, just get rid of the noob tubes completely or have a vote to kick option where people can vote to kick the noob tubers from the lobbies. Hey Pwn if you watch the multiplayer trialers there are still "protubes", but it seemed to me that they were def. nerfed from MW2 there were multiple parts where there were explosions all around and he wasn't dying so I'm not entirely sure but that's just what it looked like to me.

@kidfoxten His point is that just because it's in the real war doesn't mean it has to be in the game. If you really want to stick to the real war, then the militia/opfor side would need to have a severe weapon disadvantage, while the Op40/Seals have state of the art weaponry and usually some sort of advantage (surprise?). Also, they'd have to bring back tanks and add other armored vehicles. And you wouldn't be able to snipe while moving, and you'd need to have a spotter any time you snipe.
in MW3 the explosive damage will be reduced and no OMA or Danger Close so noobtubing will probably not be so common it's going to be weaker than in blops lol

How to fix Noobtubes:
1. Make them take a perk like CoD4

They are not going to remove noobtubes from the game for obvious reasons...There are way more bad kids playing Call of Duty then skilled players why do think it is the most popular online game these days thus if Infinity ward or who ever is making the next Cod phenomenom will lose like 60% of its population because you are taking the ability for people to get kills in a game. So dont waste your breath if you want to play a skill game go pick up an arena shooter or css. Cod is for noobs not pros

I agree with you entirely, Pwn. Instead of getting to the route of the problem, and going into the scripts and going tick tick tick with their keyboards, and halfjng the blast radius of the noob tubes, they decide to make OMA horrible. I used OMA in SnD!! You switch to a nice long range class to pick off some enemies, and while on the move pick an SMG or an Assault Rifle! Come on, IW, really?

Noob tubing was to stop in Black Ops. I say there is more noob tubers in black Ops than in MW2 so it does not matter if they remove danger close or one man army. So I say, just get rid of the noob tubes completely or have a vote to kick option where people can vote to kick the noob tubers from the lobbies. Hey Pwn if you watch the multiplayer trialers there are still "protubes", but it seemed to me that they were def. nerfed from MW2 there were multiple parts where there were explosions all around and he wasn't dying so I'm not entirely sure but that's just what it looked like to me.

honestly you should watch some mw3 gameplay. theres alot of it out there. its no where near a "mw 2.5" its gona have noob tubes. but the game is way more balenced WAY more gun on gun play. its less about kill streaks and shit like that. mw3 will turn the series around.

@kidfoxten His point is that just because it's in the real war doesn't mean it has to be in the game. If you really want to stick to the real war, then the militia/opfor side would need to have a severe weapon disadvantage, while the Op40/Seals have state of the art weaponry and usually some sort of advantage (surprise?). Also, they'd have to bring back tanks and add other armored vehicles. And you wouldn't be able to snipe while moving, and you'd need to have a spotter any time you snipe.

in MW3 the explosive damage will be reduced and no OMA or Danger Close so noobtubing will probably not be so common it's going to be weaker than in blops lol
