My husband made this and I brought it to work. It took a week to get all things ready and make it but to this day people BEG me to bring in another one.....We are huge AB fans and he is the best..... :)

It really burns me up that modern bakeries and diners are exchanging flavor and tradition for convenience and cheapness. Whenever I bake a cake, I always make it from scratch using recipes passed down from three or sometimes four generations. Like the Cake Lady said: the past tastes better than the future.

I'm looking to make this cake for my birthday but I can't find coconut cream anywhere and im thinking of making my own coconut extract because the store bought ones are artificial.

@Jacob1986 He says in part 2 after he makes the coconut milk/cream, that like all the other coconut products you have about a week in the fridge and about a month in the freezer.
