this reminds me, i still have no idea how to professionally record playing a game system hooked up to a tv? i only know the old VCR method and that isn't very good quality. what's the method like now? any way to have a recording microphone at the same time? (so to not have to bother with recording duologue for LP's after recording game footage)

@vlad48329reborn I use a Dazzle, which will capture right off a TV or game system at pretty good quality. It won't record your mic though, so I boot up CoolEdit or Audacity and record it simultaneously, then do a quick splice together in Camtasia.
