It's a well balanced knife as far as slashing, chopping and thrusting, and size. I agree that a kukri is better, but it's bigger, and harder to conceal.

Do a google shopping search for Cold Steel 39llb, and you'll find plenty of places to buy it. I've found it the cheapest on Ebay.
