  • Very nice training, this is my next step :)

  • is this 2.4 ghz??

  • No, this one is the standard Walkera TX (the first one, before they released a newer vesion).

  • Were this video made on STOCK helicopter, you added some advenced parts? Thanks and good video.. :-)

  • I think at this point I had upgraded this heli to a brushless motor. But if you check my other videos you can see my stock standard walkera 36 flying well.

    Steve

  • coooooooooooooooooooooooooooool :-)

  • flying a helicopter remote controlled OR real-life is like balancing a spinning dish on a stick right?

  • No, that would be considered VERY easy compared to flying a heli. Imagine trying to balance a tennis ball on top of a football. Thats more like it. Steve

  • for me it was like walking a tight rope while trying to juggle a bowling ball and a chain saw...

  • LOL that's dramatic. Funny stuff.

  • does the walkera come with alot of controle trims- electronic and on the controles- should help alot no?

i have one of these, its hard 2 fly- so i rarely endup taking it out which is sad cuz its an amazing heli

  • alright ill give that ago.

  • oh yea and mine is a walker dragonfly #4

  • If it's a #4 then dont go buying that big battery I said before, thats for the #36.

You might find that your motor is a bit weak/worn. Maybe replace that first. The fixed pitch helis go through motors fairly quickly in my experience. Steve.

  • alright thanks man i will look it up right now

  • im still learning how to fly these but for some reason it wont lift over about 40 cm.

i thinks theres something wrong about the battery.

  • What battery are you using? Is it the stock battery that it is sold with? If so throw it in the bin and buy a 1800mAh Lipo. You'll never look back. Lookup ebay item no 200238535559

  • good trim

  • very smooth man!!

  • I used a simulator - a few times it flew in to my face (Nose-Off)

  • are you lying?

  • Yes I lied - more than a few times.

Hovering in wind - crashes go any direction - lose the tail everything goes reversed + try to recover by gaining height and it just goes faster sideways in to your face (not always - sometimes you get lucky and it goes in to someone else's face)

  • Bloody nice landing

  • doing good but if your just learning try nose in at a higher altitude. so if you need to bail out you will have alt to do so. just my 2 cents

  • Or buy a Flight simulator that will teach you about how radio controls work plus if you crash it on a flight simulator wont cost you nothing just push reset and your ready to go again.I have the RealFlight G3.5 and its worth it.

  • "wont cost you nothing". So it will cost you something?

  • What i ment was if you crash your heli on a flight simulator you dont have to buy parts just push reset an try it again thats all.

  • stupid he means wont cost you nothing in crashing on the sim.

  • I had one of these, but it broke, tried to fly it in my room, not a good idea, haven't got round to fixing it.

  • send it to 12 wheat st casino nsw australia ill look after it 4 ya

  • nah i'm ok, i can fix it, just haven't got round to doing it, been busy.

  • lazy lol have fun

  • Nice flying! Turning it towards you is an act of faith....

  • hi could you do a video but with looking at your remotcontroll because i have just bought a helicopter and i dont no how to take of or what buttons to use cheers

  • Interesting idea. I'd have to video the controller and the heli so you could relate both together. I may have a go of this. Theres a lot of windy weather during the next few days so it may take me a while to do.

  • ok cheers for that

  • please do i have been browsing for a video like that for ages!

i will sunscribe so i know when you do( if you do! lol) ;)

  • Search for this video on YouTube.

'Daniel Jetschin - The Shaky Stick, Reversing Pirouetting Man '

  • Buy a Flight simulator the RealFlight G3.5 is all you need to fly.

  • amen to that!!! thats what i have.

  • did you manage to do a vid with camra looking at the remote controll whilest you flying the helecopter

  • No not yet, sorry. I will try to do one next time I fly.

  • I've just done a quick vid of me flying with the transmitter included. It was just a quick first attempt. Steve

  • perfect... and they say walkera sucks... :)

  • No videos at present, I'm not that good! I did have a video of me crashing the heli but my wife wiped it (good)! Just running an ESky Honey Bee, I'm a lomg way off CCPM stuff yet! I'll post some videos once there's something worth watching. Have fun.

  • Nice flying. I wish the bloody wind & rain would stop so I could get some practice in!!!!

  • Thanks. I know how yuo feel about the weather :( In the last 2 weeks I've managed about 3 mins of flying! Not good. You got any videos of you flying?

  • Hey steve we will see, anyway saturdays weather looks very good at the moment, so likes like a meet up and fly over yours!

  • Glen this is not my vid lol!

  • Give it a few more weeks and we will be doing videos like that of you.

  • One problem is, i dont have anyone to film it :-(

  • Hey Wiggy— real good flying man! Congratulations on your smoothly controlled nose-in hover. Wish I were in the UK so I could film you! Regards, Glen

  • Nice going, I am off to the field today with mine, so that should give me some more space for some forward flight and turns!

  • I look forward to seeing the video clips. Good luck.
