My name is Summer actually, which was what caught my attention at first with this movie! I ened up falling in love with this movie too. Summer's character is almost an opposite to my own, and i can relate to Tom a lot more. Overall, amazing movie. Made me cry the first time watching it <3

People, I really like the film, but I found Zoey 'Summer's' character the most dense and vapid character, her ditzy behaviour would drive any man insane, I understand Tom's yearning for someone, it just didn't have to be Summer- he was far more inquisitive, and I guess that is the point, it just wasn't Summer. I just get the feeling by her behaviour her marriage won't last very long, we've all been there, most don't know what they are looking for and opt for all jigs and reels as we Irish say

Lovely song and this movie really touched me. I felt so identified with Tom (Joseph Gordon Levitt) when he saw Summer's wedding ring at the party and then left...I think we all have been in that moment when someone really breakes your heart with subsequent days, months and even years of sadness and depression; what a horrible feeling. Cheers to all those who can get over.

i think the blue distinguishes how she has developed in her belief of love. throughout the movie, the shad of blue goes from very light in the beginning to very dark and robust in the end. i think it symbolizes how her belief in true love was faint in the beginning but got deeper, thicker, and more rich as the story line progresses. just a thought though.
