I love this man.Blaze has gone through a lot of shit, but sttill, he continues to write kickass heavy metal and sings better than ever.

To you people being concerned about his weight:

He was never thin.

He has lost his wife and a lot more has happened to him.

Stress is a factor that lets people gain OR loose weight.Thin people most likely loose weight while sturdy people gain.

I trained in Bel Canto (Opera) for many years, and there is a certain breathing technique that you use for singing in this manner - you physically hold your ribs open in an expanded state while holding the diaphragm down, which only lets a miniscule amount of air out - and he isn't doing it. If you have correct breath support you won't run out of air before the line you are singing ends, and your voice won't waiver.

C'mon people!! Let's stop comparing him with Dickinson. Blaze has a medium low voice and sings very, very well. I was in his concert a couple of days ago here in Rio. Besides, his atitude is just amazing!!! Bruce Dickinson has a very high voice and sings great, of course. Steve Harris was just crazy "oblying" Blaze to sing Bruce's songs. Each one has his each value and Blaze is way better now than he was in Iron Miden.

What I most like on him and Dianno is the way they've been taking their careers. Instead of survive as "the trash what was trohwn out by Steve", trying to relive acient times...

They are on the road making new music. Unfortunately I don´t like his voice on this song, maybe by bruce this would be great.... I prefer blaze on lord of the flies, and sign of the cross. He´s a good singer, he just had the horrible luck to have to replace bruce in songs not made to him. I guess that´s the truth.

@Aljax21 Because British TV sucks (apart from Scuzz) they are all about mainstream crap and sports.

The only places that may accept him on TV are Tonight with Jools Holland and Johnathon Ross. However I don't think them shows are on anymore. :( Jools Holland was good, they had loads of people from rock and metal genre. Ozzy Osbourne, Alice in Chains and some other good artists on there.

@bonegrubber I do like him. I think he just bit off a little more than he could chew when he took the Maiden job. Bruce is a VERY hard act to follow, and tbh, I doubt there's ANY metal singer out there that would have been an acceptible replacement for Bruce. Blaze's last few albums have proved that he is in fact a very talented singer. And for the record, I think that The sign of the cross is one of Maiden's best songs, so your tenure was not in vain, Blaze!

A reason Blaze could have gotten fat is because of the death of his wife, and Blaze and his band make EXTREMELY great metal and promise and terror, albeit not as good as the man who would not die, IS FUCKING AWESOME and has been spinning in the CD player ever since I BOUGHT it. Maiden really made a mistake in 1999. In fact, it was Steve Harris's fault that the last album was subpar, because he wrote the vast majority of the material on it.

Blaze is brilliant, and even the haters can't say that that last piece of musical diarrhea from Maiden we were forced to endure, aka 'A Matter of Life and Death,is better than this. At least Blaze is original and hasn't yet released an album which rearranges the same shit we've heard already.
