@bparno Best by a mile. Carrie and Kelly were very good. Crystal is far better than merely "very good".

It wasn't even perfect singing from a technical standpoint, but that hardly matters. Even the few notes she missed were rounded off and rolled over in a way that only a very experienced singer knows how to do. What's irreplaceably precious with Crystal is that tone to her voice, like honey over something savory. You can't teach that. You can't duplicate that. It just is.

to be honest, this is the only performance that I really felt crystal as an artist, from this on, crystal for me is a contender to the finale, I really felt it when she got emotional and shes thanking the Lord for her parents (in my interpretaion)

She has diabetes and they wanted her off about a month ago because she had to go to the hospital. Crystal is far better than the Idol talent level and the people that run the show.. 19/RCA will also ruin her first album if she wins - if she leaves she can get her own company for an album

Ok so I watched the show last night and watched it again on the tube at least 5 times and I was so excited I couldn't get past my adrenaline rush over her singing.  But today, well I have re~watched her segment 5 times on my big tv and I cried like a baby every time. Now that is power in a voice.
