@gunzmith ... please note that the video shows a training session for 25 meter / 27 yards bulls eye precision shooting within MLAIC rules. The use of the left hand to cock the hammer is strictly intended to keep the right hand with the same grip stance all across the shooting cycles. It's a precision handling for a shooting match and not (at all) a practical/historical/military handling.
