math is actually an integral part of life. The more you know in math, you more you can do in practically any field - especially the sciences. I'm a bio major and I use statistics and growth models all the time. But no one really likes math in high school.

@technicolour45 I'm a statistics major, and I could not agree more. So many of life's everyday problems are easily solved with math. Balancing a budget is just one (an important one). Frankly, I'm appalled at some people's gross inability to do even simple arithmetic.

Lol. I told my 11th grade math teacher he was a moron. He was so fucking stupid he didn't care. I had him two years in a row. Every day, we'd pray for a sub because the sub generally knew more about math that Mr. Wor ever did.
