  • I would NEVER tell anyone to buy ANYTHING made by 'Vermont Castings' which is now Monhessen Hearth. They are a company of no integrity. We own a Defiant Woodstove and the Puffback on it has made the air quality in our home intolerable. We should have kept our old stove. The only nice thing about it is the way it looks. When we contacted the company and went through the chain of command to rectify the problem we were given the run around to the point the warranty expired!! STAY AWAY BAD NEWS!
