  • Hai, Thanks for uploading this video, this is very nice to understand... But i have a doubt ... When we configure AD in adiitional domain, before we need to configure DNS ang DHCP? or its take automaticall?

Before we configure AD in Additional domain, What are the requirement for a ADC?

  • @prajithmm1 You dont need dhcp for secondary DC. You use static ip. Also DNS will automtically be configured for you.

  • Very nice....

geepriest..if you have any questions ask.. Overall the video was very informative.

    Thanks howithink.

  • thx a lot

i wonder if the first domain controller crash

would the second domain controller still run normally?

  • @samce2000 that depends on what type of fsmo roles were installed on that domain controller. If all roles were on that machine then your network will have issues and you will need to force your secondary domain to capture those roles. If you had them spread out then only those other roles you will need to capture. If this DC didnt have any roles then you only need to do a clean up and thats all.

  • Excellent ....helped me a lot.....but please do add sound!!

  • I thought it was great!!!! Very helpful.

  • do the thing over with some sound...this sucks
