  • aiko is great! this is one of the first j pop songs i heard

    almost twelve years ago!

  • ฟังเพลงก็รู้แล้วว่าเรื่องนี้ต้อง"ซึ้ง"

  • 心が洗われる。

  • aikoらしく歌ってるw

  • Ohh, who can argue when aiko is covering. Go listen to her other cover.

  • 素晴らしい(T_T)

    本家しか認めなかったけどこのカバーには脱帽

  • I like both versions (^____^)//

  • aiko is great

  • Seems to lack the emotion the original conveyed. The way Masayoshi sings it clearly conveys that, "if only" sadness that this song represents.

  • watch?v=D56ocbSkOhE Did a better female version IMO.

  • your good, but the original its simply awesome

  • It's good, but Yamazaki makes this song perfect with his feeling and voice. Her voice is sad and great however in some way it's weird (no offense)

  • I liked it even more than the original :)

  • I definitely like the original one better.

  • เพราะดี

  • is it wrong to get boner listen to this 0_o

  • She sounds like she's crying, and what a sad voice... but really good though :D

  • It's good.

I'm not gonna compare this to the male version cuz both version are good.

Though personally I prefer the male ver.

It's simply cuz I'm a guy missing his lost love.

  • @KainkuKazegawa I like both versions too, each one really convey the feeling of loss in their voices so well.

  • @tenshi9001 i agree with you ...this female version is not bad but the male version is still more passionate to hear.. when Yamazaki Masayoshi sing this song its so very lovable to hear it comes from the heart!!

Any way thanks for uploading this... its my first time to hear this song sang by AIKO... have a nice day!!!

  • Ah I totally agree with just about everyone here. The original song feels more passionate to me. If you've ever just heard the karaoke version, the BGM isn't really that emotional, the passion comes from the guy singing. In this one, it's still good, I like it. But I have to say the guy sings it better.

  • カバーって難しいんだね。

  • i love both versions. both are emotional and passionate in their own ways. you really get a sense of longing and sorrow from the singers.

  • giiu!! malo bad !!! quiso aser una "mejor " version y lo iso mal le quiso dar su estilo y lo iso peor y tiene fea voz uu.

  • Oh god.. This so good.. but Masayoshi sing it better... love this song..

  • This version has a different appeal to me. I like it though. The original is powerful and passionate. I mean there's passion here but the raspy voice is calming and the song becomes relaxing instead of moving for me. It still good though.

  • She's singing good, but original version is way much better than this one.

  • shes ruined it

  • @frostyg02uk

Uhh...That's a bit of a stretch. I think she did a good job but the original still sounds better.

  • i found the song , but the quality not so good , Anyone got the links of the better quality of the song ?

  • this is pretty good but I like the version by Masayoshi Yamazaki more.I mean the way he sings it is just....undescribable :)

  • Love Aiko, but hate this!

  • SOOO LONELYYY.

  • kaawaaiii :D!

  • Though I prefer the original, I think this cover is lovely. Her voice is marvelous; I love the rough edge to it.

  • her voice is nice but...i swear she sounds like she has a cold or sore -throat or somethin.

  • LOL she does... it especially sticks out to me now since I have a cold right now and I sound like this haha

  • yeah but that is cute xD

  • Whoa...I could have swore she messed up the lyrics somewhere. Anyway, this version is alright. But the original singer just blows this away

  • i lik both version...

  • her voice.. kawaii~ :3

  • sooo good like the original!

  • これはこれで素晴らしい

    aikoが昔、ラジオのオールナイトニッポンでやったカバーですね

  • Her voice is beautiful! O.O

  • I like this one but the video fits the original version better.

  • i don't like that version...it is better the male version

  • Agree, this version is like mixed with pop kinda tune. When Masayoshi Sempai sings it, its just incredible.

  • Not bad... but male version is better.

  • @SergeiSama agree

  • Beautiful interpretation of this song~~♪

  • hmmmm.. original better.

feel like a drunk person singing.

  • This ver is ok too, Aiko dis a good job. But I still thik the original is better :x I like Masayoshi voice. There's so much emotions in it. His ver almost made my cry.

  • I very much agree! I swear I was on the brink of crying.

  • cool +_+b

  • A followup on that comment. parts like 2:23 almost literally made me go "GHHHHHHH!?"

  • lol I love the raspy voice of this cover =d

  • @Aspharatos hahaha! It's scary! :P

  • I like the original version better. To me it only sounds like she's barely passing through the notes.

  • i think her "raspy" sounds made it better.....dunno, it just gave me more feeling of the story. she made it sound sadder though...

  • I like both versions

  • the original version is way better

  • i love..love..love the song..and i love this too!!same as the real one..i like crazy find this song in mp3 format XP

  • This song is very beautiful , text is a very good. I give five!

  • The original version feels raw and emotional. This version may have been sung better, but pales in comparison.

  • . . . I agree with everything you said except for the "sung better" part.

This wasn't enjoyable to listen to.

    A raspy voice. . .

  • I was always thinking that female voice suits this song better but looks like I was wrong.

This version sounds like voice of a drunkar teenage girl.

  • not so, but i didnt like it either..

  • agreed

  • Nice~ :3

  • thanks :P

  • I prefer this version too.. although I think Yamazaki is the original songwriter who wrote this song

  • We wouldn't really care about your "version" though. By the way, learn how to properly type in English. "And That guy:Masayoshi Yamazaki kicking Her ASS!"-Very, very nice grammar.

  • Hahaha Thanx for wise criticism. I realy appreciate it, Flippy. But I KNOW english (not good... but I learing). And I talk with you on Your Language. Do you know Russian? Do you know how Difficult it is? But thanx! You know, I think you are not bad as you want to be consided. :)

  • You're cool.

  • Thanx, I AM cool, but, why You think so? (Sorry for my English. It was corupted while coming to you from Russia)

  • You're no asshole...Just cool. lmao.

  • :))

  • なんでみんな英語~?笑

    aikoはやっぱすごいな、

    なんか感情こもってる

  • 英語だけでなく....ロシアも

  • thanks for uploading it.

  • Awesome song! And I do believe this is the singer of the Jap version of Magic Pengel~

  • Okay, nevermind. It sounded like her at first. XD

  • so emotional and sweet voice

  • I like both versions, this one was really good.

  • I think something got lost in translation here. The guy's version somehow conveys more emotions. But, whatever.

  • if the voice is more sader and clearer it's would be even better than the original version

  • This one is nice, but the guy version just is just so much more powerful

  • muy bueno ¡

  • She changed the words a little... From どこでも to どこかに at 1:27 for example

  • i think they both sound great (maybe its cause im a guy =O)

  • Her voice is nice for the song, but i still do prefer the guys. but hey whatever floats your boat ya know.

  • I like that its a female voice but the quality is pretty hazy. Better would be awesome.

  • she ruined a perfectly good song :(

  • nice

  • realmente hermoso - so beautiful

  • I like the other ver. better, but this is good too.

  • yep, the other is more emotive, more powerfull

  • Who is AIKO??

  • It could be TONS of people... Aiko is a fairly common name in Japanese...

  • But I believe she's Aiko Yanai. But she usually writes her name as "aiko" not "AIKO" or "Aiko".

  • where can i download this??

  • 'if you have a youtube downloader you can directly download this then just convert it to a file type suitable to where you want to put it (PSP video, ipod video, iphone video, cellphone, windows media video.. and the like. sorry, that's all i know. i don't know any direct download sites where you can download this^^

  • yes i know i usally ehen i can not find a song from youtube i use youtube downloader but it isn't so good quality..:(

  • 'yeah, it really isn't. especially if it is a video, but if you are just after the song and convert it to MP3 or something, i think it was somehow ok^^

  • 'ah, here's another. i got this from one of the replies, if you read all the replies here, you'll find it too^^ 'search "aiko one more time one more chance mediafire" on GOOGLE'

  • thnx for all the help that you ave me...xDxDxDxDxD

  • 'no problem^^ i am happy to be of help ;)

  • :):):):):):)

  • perfect!!!

  • Yamazaki's and AIKO's versions are incomparable. It's like saying if the glass is half empty or half full.

    Regardless, both versions are good.

  • I just think of this one as Akari's version and the original one as Takaki's version... both of their voices sense different emotions but I love both as well! I cry everytime I hear the song...!

  • I think its really sad....like....she's lonely

  • I love, absolutely adore Masayoshi Yamazaki's original of this song, but I think aiko has an amazing voice as well. I wouldn't compare them :T I love both versions!

  • //POSSIBLE SPOILER//

not as appropriate when a female sings it, IMO. girls are able to move on faster and easier, as the girl did in this movie. she wouldn't get stuck in time and memories for years. that's why I prefer the male voice singing it

  • I stay with the original

  • aikoはどんな曲でも自分のものにしちゃうからすごい!!

    いいうたぁ♪

  • guy's voice is more suitable for the show....her doesnt suit the show cos it doesnt "end" the show in the correct note..whereas the guy's voice enables us to reflect at the sametime lookin at pics too giving us a SAD but greaet atmosphere..woooot i love this show

  • Ah. Correction - Movie, not show.

  • I think there's something incredibly sad about AIKO's voice in this song... something hopeless and empty.

  • in the womans' voice there's no sadness...

so i think i like the mans' voice better ;D

but this one is great, too.

  • her voice is not bad.... but somehow it doesnt do e trick....

  • The voice and the piano kind of remind me of film noir movies with the lady that sings while the piano plays in the bar.

I do like the guy version with the guitar better though.

  • I love Aiko but I do like the original version best.

  • This version is ok, but the guy version is much better. I can feel the sadness in his voice, this version, she sounds like she's trying to be sad.

  • Hola!!! me gusto mucho el video y la interpretacion de la cantante AIKO,sabes donde puedo baja el tema musical que interpreta esta cantante??

  • Masayoshi Yamazaki version is better than Aiko. :) but she has a good voice:)

  • anyway, does anyone know where i can download this version?

  • search "aiko one more time one more chance mediafire" on GOOGLE

  • thanks! i found it.

  • it wasn't that bad, i enjoy this version as well. there's this softness in her voice that make you feel calm after listening to it. of course u can't compare it to the original version, since the guy have a really strong voice. but i believe both sing with great emotion for this song.

  • the guys version sounds stronger as this girl version, by the guys version u can feel the emotions within this song but in her version its just a normal song, without emotion, shes just singing it like every other song! Aiko, this is such a emotional song and u killed the song and the emotion within T____T... But her voice is ok and she tried it ;)

  • i like the guy voice bettter XD

  • i think this "drunk singing" of hers is supposed to be her style or something, created for effect.... but in the end it kinda sounds... different? i'd have to say, the guy version was better. :D

  • not too bad... but not as good as the original.

it's still nice to hear different versions

woah, the end hurts a lot though !

  • it's not all bad, it has some good points, but ya...i prefer yamazaki masayoshi singing it's more moving

  • 評判悪いなーw

    確かにこの曲とアニメに、この声はないな。

  • daisikiyo, aiko!!

  • Aiko's voice is sweet as usual, but as the anime itself is largely inspired by the Masayoshi version, so this cover version will never match with the video.

Try to treat it as a different song and you'll find it good! :)

  • lol...you guys were right...she sounds drunk

  • seriously, she ruined this song by singing it in a drunk tired manner

  • The voice doesnt match well. In the original, the lighter guitar is matched by a deeper and more powerful voice. When I heard the piano, i was expecting a more clear and sweet voice.

  • well,, this time it's a lil bit jazzy, not so rock-pop like before..

this voice reminds me to evangelion

  • she's a great singer...

    why do you think this?

  • I mean, maybe it sounds a little different for this song...but it does not mean that she is not a good singer...

I think that she was trying to make her voice more grown up for this song...

So it sounds different than usual.

and different than the original singer's voice because she is a girl.

    (*~*)

  • 何で?皆英語なん?解るん???

    感情はこもってないように思うけど、、

    涙が止まらなかった。アイコの声の優しさと強さだからかな?

  • 素敵!

  • i like this version of the song.

it gives the anime more of a "growing up" feel.

    :3

  • this version of it is good as well.

  • :P A good song and defiently different version of what I heard so far. Its good but could be improved -_- i also do prefer the original but I also do like hearing other versions of this song.

  • Every artist has there own interpretations and style.

  • not every, most of them just copy another, but this artist here is exception.

  • I do like the original but this is also really very sweet and has a great soft feel to it....

  • i prefer Masayoshi Yamazaki to sing this song.

  • waaaa que bonita¡ pero nada como la original je

  • this has a other swing then the male version its nice but i prever the male version but she is a bit slower with singing

  • I praise the original for being awesome, and this for being a bit softer rendition, just a bit easier on the ears. Case closed.

  • much better the male version of this song sorry

  • i agree with the people that say her version is bad

has anyone ever heard the original its much better and the guy can actualy sing

  • She sings as well , it's simply a different version. Unfortunately , the credibility of your review was severely tarnished when you misspelled actually.

    LOL

  • For what it's worth, I like hearing a female rendition of this song every now and then (like say right now), more than wanting to hear the original even.

  • She has a great voice , no doubt, but the original version gave me chills ;__;

  • the original is better by a big margin, can't even compare

  • not bad.. but i'll still stick to Yamasaki-San

    O3O

  • well...

not bad, i like it :)

  • When i tried the download link it didn't download

do you have another download link?

  • NUB? o_O What's that? n00b?

lol. It probably sounded offensive, but I'm just stating my opinion.

  • I think Aiko is trying too hard and her voice isn't that great. Sorry, but I like the MALE version better.

  • i dont get why people dont like aiko's voice.

    personally, i think it's sexy...

it's nice to have another version of the song...

  • Another great version from "One More Time, One More Chance", thanks for uploading!
