I'm currently working my way through Necessary by order..I've come across it many times, but never actually gave it a chance until a few days ago where I thought ''Hang on..you read absurd pairings such as Tom/Hermione..whats the difference with Sirius/Hermione..'' and I've truly gotten hooked on the pairing! Thanksss. :)

this is one of my favorite fanfics of all time :) I love the sirius/hermione stories...personally its cause i love sirius so much and Gary Oldman portrays the young and old sirius so well :D

Just wondering... it said "The Ministry was against them", but didn't it say in the beginning that the Ministry had made a law that said every Muggleborn should marry a Pureblood... then what's the problem!?

It was a Ministry law...but, [if you read the story] because it was something Hermione did on her own accord before the law took affect (like go in and get hitched to Sirius) they found it suspicious and they do "inspections" during the course of their marriage. However, I thank you for being so observant.

It's a law passed, but because it's Hermione and Sirius...you find out there's more value to Hermione. Just for an example.

The Gary bits were taken from two films: State of Grace and Track 59. They're how I see Sirius "Cleaned Up". :)
