  • it looks even more cooler in slow lol 5/5

  • @TheShadowFreak3010 Glad you liked it ;-)

  • Hey Mr. Retallick, After the Bone ho's angel move, you dumped the card to the left packet. But it flips?!?! how did you do that?

    Thanks, creep2night

  • @lianpalima Hello!

Yes, it flipped over in one of those shots. Basically it's due to the positioning of my thumb on the card. I can't do it consistently, but the basics are thus:

The card must be on or nearer the tip of the thumb, not on the pad. The contact point must be slightly off center, so that when Angel is excecuted, the card stays with the hand for a split second, and then falls as the hand slows down.

It's not something I recommend doing, a medium speed wrist twist is my favourite.

  • @Tarvi Thanks for the tip. I't' very hard to pull off. I tried it. hehe. what do you mean by medium speed wrist twist? what does it look like?

  • @lianpalima

Alternatively you can do the Angel move, and then after you complete the roation of the wrist, you can bring the card into a position to flaip back to the deck, as you wold in the final part of Dan and Dave Buck's Ferrari 360 Spider., and the flip it to the waiting left hand, holding the deck.

I mean just twirling the hand around once the card is on your thumb, you can see it in the video fairly clearly :-)

  • @Tarvi Corrections: Flip, Then.

  • so just do an angel and then do the medium speed wrist twist, then end it with a reverse TG murphy (which flips the card back to your left hand)?

  • @lianpalima Spot on lad :-)

The reason I've dubbed it "Medium speed" (it's not a real name by any means, it's merely a discription) is because it looks a lot more magical and clever if it slows down as the wrist turns, because it appears to hang in mid air. There's a lot more to the movements than at first glance, but believe me, I've got comments on that part of it, even from laymen.

    Enjoy!

  • I know. It looks awesome. But I really want to pull off this flip 00:15 instead of clipping it again(after the wrist twist), and then flip it back.

    Thanks man.

  • @lianpalima You'll get it either way eventually. The clip and flip can be done fast after practice and repitition.

  • I can do it fast, but I just want to do something new. Actually I'm practicing that flip on 00:15 right now. hahahaha.

  • Simply magnificent !! :)

  • @cromoljac Thank you very much.

  • so good so genius Performances 5/5 look very good i luck =] ty you for tutorial

  • @luffy69691 Thank you very much!

  • a master piece

  • Thank you very much!

  • This is freaking awesome!5/5!!

  • i wonder why dan and dave gave this video 4 not 5 stars. hmmm

  • Who knows?

I wonder why they gave it four stars not zero.....

  • ahhh i don't get the part were u slide the card off the top of the packet with ur right-ring finger...help plox!?!?!

  • You need to contact the bottom right hand corner of the back with your right finger finger and push downwards and slightly to the left, to pivot it around your right hand first finger, transfering the pivot point to the middle finger. Then regrip with the middle and pinky finger on the back of the card, and the ring finger on the face. Hope that helps!

  • zomg i got it! tytyty!!! very great flourish ( bad grammer >.>)

  • Congratulations, and well done :-)

  • this is a very good cut I'm a very strick critic and I must say this is comparable to some of the more popular cuts with similar handling like marionette and mocking bird....................omg that sounded so profesional jajaja I kick ass!!

  • @sarcasm2182

What?! So you managed to string together a sentence with more than 3 words, therefore you think it sounds professional?

Silly child. Maybe you would sound a bit more professional if you learnt how to spell:

    "strick' = strict?

    "profesional" = professional?

People like you make me laugh.

  • @GolldLining

WTF is ur problem?? I mean this is youtube not fuking english class people like u make ME laugh bitching about anything and anyone seriously live a little

  • Thanks!

  • Really cool :) Thank you very much!

  • My pleasure

  • sweet

  • Cheers Ash.

  • how to do 0:44 do you use wax?

  • No, all that is needed is some speed, and the correct inertia.... or a slightly sweaty thumb! :-)

  • Tarvi this looks amazing!

Youve done yourself proud with this, hopefully with Cs advertising it you will get the recognition you deserve.

(I probably wont learn it mind you haha)

  • Thanks man, I really appreciate those kind words!

    I won't hold it against you ;-)

  • Nice one! Very original move. I specially like the grip with the index and middle on 0:30 But the best move all over the rest is when you push forward a card in 0:35, this is the best part and the most ingenius one.

Very good job with the editing and music. Thank's to share it! ;)

    -Miquel

  • Thank you very much! I'm glad you've picked out the interesting details, that's what makes this flourish fun for me to perform. :-)

  • Spot on as always Marco.

    Cheers mate.

  • fcking gay...how long do u need to master this flourish

  • In answer to your question, I don't know. It depends on your skill level and practice times. Thanks for watching.

    5/5

  • Thanks Kate!

  • Amazing bro! Keep it up!

  • Thanks man :-)

  • Any tips on how to get the Angel with dry hands?

  • Sure. Turn the hand over, so the card already rests on your thumb. This can be done with or without a deck. Then move the hand in a circular motion, from the wrist, to get a more flourishy look. Don't jerk the hand, or the card WILL fly off.

As an alternative to Angel in this move, it is possible to simply twirl the card, and then flip it to the deck.

  • Amazing as always Dave!

  • Awesome flourish!! I will try my best to learn this and when i master it i will make a video on it! Thanks for the tutorial!
