The idea that Private Manning, the lowest level soldier, in the front lines of Iraq could copy 300,000 secret documents from 1985 to the present is a fantasy. He had access to information about his area, but nothing more. For you to look at secret information, you would need pre-authorization. To actually copy information to a disc or flash drive, then you would need even more authorization. Just like large corporation like Deutsche Bank or Daimler-Benz keep their secret files from prying eyes.
