  • Idk why they are in such a hurry. It’s a 1 or 2 room burn out in a 4 story OMD it’s mainly room and contense. That is a BS fire we get them all the time, just cause its venting out 1 or 2 windows doesn't show the actually fire inside the room. They also have 4 lines stretched, we have 2 lines stretched 1 in ops for that type of fire. I guess that’s just the FDNY way of doing things o’well. I do commend them on there aggressive interior attack and quick knock down though good job guys

  • dc always kicks ass

  • Now there's what I like to see. The engine pulls up and before the driver even has a chance to exit the rig, the crew are already pullin' lines. To make matters even better, they are runnin' those suckers, not taking their sweet time like many. Nice work DCFD!!!

  • I love the 5th due company running the 400 ft line up the street

  • did anyone die?

  • Definitely the best on the east coast hands down. DCFD gets it done no matter what!

  • hop off the maple computer fags.. instead of sitting on the computer watching dumb videos, how about sitting through an actual class and learning how to do the job like smart individuals.

  • 1 word.....awesome

  • Only department that hustles...

  • wow what do you know, a fire department that actually takes pride in kicking it in the ass and putting fires out.................fast................and from the inside. I can't believe this video is actually from 2007. I sure wish our admin wanted us to have this outlook on the job. they just keeping cutting and saying "oh well". Great video.

  • aweseome execution DC, that's how it should be done!

  • dcfd does it quick but fdny doesnt start attacking it for a while

  • hey i had family in that aparment i was here also but on the other side of the street

  • great job guys. love to see an aggressive, but safe fire attack!

  • Great Video Stay Safe Guys

  • Great Video

  • another fire stared by a crackhead

  • WOW, what a concept!!!!! Firefighters running to stretch lines and nip the fire in the ass, I love to see an aggressive FD not often you see this. Awesome work by the camera and members of the FD

  • thats the way to do it Washington DC fire dept knows how to do the job and they do it well

  • loved it dcfd is faston deploying lines ande knock down

  • Just to settle the bunker gear arguement...our Wagon Drivers do not wear gear and 90% of the time are not allowed inside. The 1st and 2nd due companies lay from the closest independent hydrant, 3rd and 4th supply complete the connection and supply their respective companies. We carry 500 gallons and use an nozzle that provides 125 gpm, therefore in building such as this with diffucult stairwells and hallways our WD assists with deployment of our attack line.

  • Do you guys allways have the same driver every shift, or does it change?

  • Our Technicians drive every day they are there but if they are off one of the guys off the back step will drive.

  • that's what you call hustle.they mostly use that electric siren a lot with the q in some counties in florida anyway great vid.

  • Great video guys.

    Much love!

    Linden Vol. Fire Dept.

    Stay safe!

  • i think we can just settle it as every department is diffrent on the way they handle things

  • Usually if you as a chauffer on the 1/2/3rd due companies on a fire like this, you will be pumping. Most departments on the east coast (and many on the west) don't require their chauffers to put bunker gear on, as they are outside. If you're showing up on a second alarm or even late in the first, your engine company is probably going to be needed for manpower. Especially in a multiple story building. In this case, everyone goes and the rig isn't used as a pumper.

  • other firefighters like eventhough you arnt a D/E you can still pump the truck,

  • Samisfine- then whos pumping the truck if the driver goes inside?

  • well down in tampa the have there bunker gear on, they go into the fire, really diffrent up north

  • samisfine2.....why would he be in his bunker gear hes the driver

  • When the heck did this happen?

  • A couple of month's ago, March I think....hey this would'nt happen to be the FDNYDCFD guy that used to be at Ladder 3 (DC) would it?

  • did anybody notice that the engineer/driver WASNT in his bunker gear. anybody wanna explain that 2 me

  • well you only see him when they first arrive, so he may have put his bunker gear on. Some depts, mine included do not allow their engineer/drivers wear their bunker gear do to safety reasons.

  • Why would he be in his bunker gear? Are you paid of Volunteer?

  • Are you retarded?

  • very nice! adding to my favorites

  • Good Hustle guys!

  • notice the accident in front of the box. nosey public. oh yeah E18 T7
