I still remember when I first found out about you guys. You were on Progressive Nation with Bigelf, Zappa Plays Zappa, and Dream Theater. I was at the Calgary show and after the inhumanely short set you were allowed someone in the audience yelled "That was fuckin' sick" and I fully agreed. It seems like you guys are so young to have the musical talent that you have. Keep up the good work and please NEVER add vocals. keep the music pure
No vocals necessary. I thank Danielle Powers for introducing me to you guys. I look forward to seeing you with Cynic and Three this November at the Key Club in West Hollywood!
I remember you guys from such a long time ago haha! I still have your penguins in flight shirt and the demo cd :] I was so happy I found it lol anyway take care!!
i seen you guys in toronto over a year ago, when you opened up for btbam, i must say you guys were fucking unreallll , straight blew my mind away, keep it up!
@scalethesummit consider doing a show with ZERO vocals, haha just song after song with some solo breaks and no introductions or anything...that'd be an experience
You guys are amazing! i heard about you guys in guitar world a couple years ago, but i just kinda got into this style of music myself. its definitely amazing in EVERY sense of the word! come to Ottawa IL you guys can crash at my pad!
@plygtr85 Thanks dude, glad to hear you enjoyed our stuff! Im sure we'll make it around there sometime this year or early next year while on tour so keep an eye out! -Chris
I had never heard of you guys until last week. I just randomly bought the Collective on amazon.ca; cause I needed another CD to get free shipping lol. It turned out to be the most epic album I've heard in a while. It's got stylin' bass lines, badass riffs, epic beats, original melodies, and unreal solos. It's a perfect combo for anyone with ears. Come to Ottawa!
@SuperHarvestMan haha, well thats awesome to hear. did you buy it based on the cover art? I use to do that all the time, so just curious. Once again, really glad you enjoyed it! Appreciate it! -Chris
@metallica04100 sometimes I will tuck it under a finger, or for the longer periods of time when I do multiple fingers, then I put it in my mouth. we have one song that is all tapping, in that case I put the pick on the ground. -chris
Just posted a video response for you guys! Sorry, I know it's not a cover of The Great Plains. But it is an acoustic fingerstyle composition I wrote for you guys to show you how much your music means to me. Been a huge fan since Monument when I first saw you guys right here in Houston!!! Thank you guys!
Wow.. You guys are simply amazing. When I listen to you guys I go into a trance. Music is just simply beautiful. Keep up the great work guys. Never stop playing music.

Maybe PM me on here or I could add you on FB or something? You're a big inspiration for me man, I love everything you guys have done.
@TheBushpig666 I like this band and all but better than Between the Buried and Me is really hard. Between the Buried and Me is just ridiculous on what they do.
Everyone always raves about the guitars (and they're great), but the first thing that stuck out to me was the incredibly tasteful drumming. Well done!
@scalethesummit I really love all of your guy's work, You ispired my guitar playing, And im now writing melodic and progresive music, But im curious to why most of your guy's videos got copy write :C Even if the videos didnt site shit, Its still publisity ;D But if they claimed it, Then fuck them, You should visit medford OR, That would be a blessing :P Love you guys.
@scalethesummit You know how you did the whales lesson for guitar wold? where could i find the tabs for that? You mention them in the video but i couldn't find them.
Nice to see a band that uses 7- and 8-string guitars live ^^ very few bands have musicians who can handle that. Oh and gotta love the 6-string bass :D

I've seen these guys here in Vegas playing that prog tour with DT,Zappa plays Zappa and Bigelf. class band, and pretty much the surprise of the night for me.
@scalethesummit This is a silly question, but i'm 17 and wondering how you managed to get this far so quickly! I'd love to start a band and play music but i don't know where to start! How did you start off man?
you guys teach my friend for drum and guitar.... and when i found out about yall through your tour with cynic, i couldnt believe you guys were from houston too! And yall are the first local band that i want to support that I actually listen to a lot on my stereo and ipod and all!!! you guys boss so much ass!!!!!!!! SO MUCH!

I got Carving Desert Canyons signed as well. Will you guys meet with the crowd after shows this tour? That'd be awesome. -Adam

Damn, you got some damn great music! I'm really looking forward to the show next week. I'm buying the album next paycheck. My guitar coach, Tony Burnett recommended you guys. IDK if you know each other or not but he made a good suggestion. Keep rockin.
