Great reviews guys. I saw the S2950 on sale and was about to snag it when I saw this S3400 for $20 more so why the heck not!
Would have preferred a Canon but for this price Canon has nothing even close to the body style I like. The SLR like grip is the biggest feature of this digicam for my preferences.
which camera should i get for action photos, do any of these how photo bursts, like 3 pictures taken with one click of the button? (dont kno what its called)
@pkdukesnides1 Yes, you can setup to shoot in continuous shooting mode to capture up to 8fps up to 20 images (S) or 3.3 fps up to 10 images at (M) size.
@pkdukesnides1 As long as the action photo's you are taking is in good bright lighting, any camera that can offer a highspeed continuous shooting so do the job. In the Fujifilm lineup, any "S" series can do including this one.
ok i purchased the fujifilm finepix S3280 and the CD that comes with it says owners manual and i tried to play it but the only thing that popped up was a picture of the thing that says "owners manual" and i dont know what to do please help! ive read through the basic manual but i want to learn more than i need to :) and ive done about everything that i could with the options in the camera through the two menu options
@PaulDavisify YOu need to have adobe reader installed as the manual are stored as PDF files. If you have issues, you can go the fujifilm website and download the manual from there instead.
@samisbuzzing 1 Billion Dollars. Just kidding. It's hard to say because i do know the price. Of course, the S3400 does give you good bang for your bucks.
@jaysnca Depending on the size of your hand. I have small hands so the s2950 fills better for me. Larger hands, the S3300 or higher would be a better fit.
I'm a graduate of TV & Film Studies and planning on buying the Fuji Camera (this kinda cam), but a little confused...which one to buy?...S2950, S3300 or S3400...which one's a better option???
Please guide me ASAP, cause I've to buy some in other 2-3 days...!
@jaysnca Hi. Sorry for the delay. S2950, S3300 and S3400 yield similar image quality. S2950 would be slightly better due to shorter zoom but not by much. If you need the bigger zoom, go with the S3300 or S3400 otherwise, the s2950 is fine.
@fujiguys Hi, that's OK. Sorry, but i didn't get it. how a camera is slightly better when it has a shorter zoom, please explain. That would be my pleasure to have some knowledge regarding this, sir.
@jaysnca Prime lens (non zoom) tends to be sharper then zoom lens. As you increase the zoom, it is harder and harder to produce while maintain the sharpness and image quality. So with more zoom, image quality in terms of sharpness may suffer a little. How much of a difference depends of the quality of the lens and the lens combination used to achieve such zoom range. I hope this helps. Will you see the difference, not really (Especially if you don't print larger than 8x10).
Hi. Just wondering, I'm planning on buying the s4000 (I would buy the hs20exr but it's a little too expensive for me) and I wanted to know, does the s4000 have manual focus?
@101blackopsfan Only differences is zoom. S4000 offers 30x while the S3400 offers 28x. To be honest, not much differences even with the zoom. This video can be used to discribe the S4000 and its feature
Хрень. Тоже самое я могу посмотреть и на фотографиях, представленных на комовской странице. Только там описание подробнее. Короче - воду в ступе толчёт.
@KucmeHb Yahoo Babel Fish Translation: [Khren]. Also the very I can look, also, in the photographs, represented on the [komovskoy] page. Only there description is in more detail. It is shorter - water in the mortar of [tolchet].
I have no ideal what you are asking? Yahoo is terrible for translation.
@TheRokvolvo The only differences are the zoom range. The S3300 offers 26x Zoom, the S3400 offers 28x Zoom. Image Quality for both should be the same.
@fujiguys :i checked the video and its pretty cool.but hows zooming in it???i saw a video a in which the hs10's zooming was slugish.have you overcomed it in hs20?thanks :)
