Rovers are shit. Yeah they look good inside and out. Yeah they are good off road. But they are only good off road for about the first 20 minutes until it breaks down.
But that's really due to the tariff barriers the US govt. has made to stop the American car industry from collapsing. Not that it's really going to help anymore!
The LR3 is one of the very few $50K+ vehicles that's actually worth the money. They are build to endure this type of adverse situation at the most remote places throughout the world. Of course, this groups of folks was just playing around, but Land Rovers are often called to do this sort of thing (and more) in real world rescue situations in places that Jeeps and Hummers would never be found.
@toksook im not gonna say that LR's are bad or suck cause fact is they dont, but i also dont like fanboys bashing jeep and hummer, granted the h2 and h3 are shit..but the h1? theres a reason it was chosen as multiple countries main military multiple purpose vehicle. also the jeeps...theyve been proven time and time again to be just as good as range rovers in every way, and wranglers actually have higher limits due to better articulation. LR also has more reliability issues too in gas form
