in my opinion there is no awesome instrument so stop hating on trumpets. I play tuba clarinet and bass clarinet and they are all cool and hard in there own way

I am the only tuba in a 42 player high school band..(and im an 8th grader)

And the first girl in my schools history to every play the tuba. And the youngest, most people dont get to start until high school, but i got to start last year.

(oh and btw, tuba players can kick any trumpet player's ass. We rock.)

@wethepeople64 and my band teacher told me tuba and french horn are the most important brass instruments of a band tuba being because it plays the lowest notes and french horn because its a major tenor voice for the brass instruments
