Gary: Beautiful instrument! Question--what brand of water-born lacquer do you use? (I've been using Mohawk pre-cat, with alot of success) Also, I've been commissioned to build a cittern---and advice?
Thanks! Woodson

@1313woodson
Glad you like it: StewMac lacquer. If I built another cittern, I'd go for a floating bridge.
Cheers Gary

I dont see why not; the fingerboard width is always a matter of personal choice and a deeper body should give a mellower tone.
Glad you like it.

I always wondered if this same idea could be successfully applied to an Irish Bouzouki to have a deeper body and wider fretboard. Very cool
