  • yes this the one .... this stan stands for all - he was escaping at that time but what a sound & phrasing

  • Great tune, thanks for posting it!!!!!!!!!

  • Nice recording by Stan The Man; the tune was tailor made for his glorious warm tenor, though I prefer Miles' Blue Note' version

  • but I always believed that this was actually Al Haig, Tommy Potter and Roy Haynes 1950? It can be cxeched?

  • これまではポールチェインバースのしか、聴いてなかったが。これもあるいはこれのほうがよぃかな。

  • Greetings from Stockholm! Gray sky, +5C, wet leaves on the ground..the darkness falls now round 15.30 (: so this warn tune with Stan does a great work in the evenings..

  • One of my TOP 10 favorite jazz recordings of all time. There are many versions of this song out there but this one is so pure and honest, beautifully interpreted. A must for anyone discovering Stan Getz and post-war jazz in general.

  • @amorin1: Your comment is right on the mark! Stan's period of time in Scandanavia in the early 1950s--especially in Sweden--produced some of his most lyrical recordings. Pianist Bengt Hallberg shines throughout the sessions they made together.

  • @OldIrish77 : Glad to hear from a knowledgeable fan who shares my appreciation for this great music!
