@somerandomguy1997 Just use genesis controllers if you have them. It will work fine, but obviously one button (either A or C, can't remember) will be disabled.
I love sega games, but I have always noticed that NES seemed to have stronger music. Sega kicked their ass in graphics, but could not quite match the music in a lot of games.
I ACTUALLY think the gameplay in the gameboy version is BETTER than this. I've never played this one myself, but judging from what I've seen here, there seems to be a massive issue with using punch & kick/standard attacks. It appears that the flying kick is the only safe and viable way to attack with out getting unfairly destroyed! Looks good graphically but looks like it plays like a bitch! The ULTIMATE double dragon I'd say, is DD2 on the NES. I it's think worth owning the NES for myself.
Yeah, this version was terrible. The only good Double Dragon ports were the NES and Game Boy versions. The Genesis version was very close to the arcade, but the controls weren't so hot.
this was the main version me and my bro used to play back in the day, music allways inspired me to fight bit harder hehe...that poster looks like this game has been cracked and rick rolled lol
the nes version had better sound, SMS had better graphics

A classic!
It's so different from the original or the NES version it's impossible to compare the games.
