Machida is the best fighter in the LHW division. Jon Jones is a heavyweight who fights LHW so that his physical attributes win him fights. There are more talented fighters in the LHW division than Jones but lose to him only because of Jones's physical advantages. For Lyoto to out strike someone who has a ten inch reach advantage means he completely out classed him. If Jones wasnt so big he couldnt of pulled off a standing guillotine. I thought Lyoto looked great in that fight! He is the best!!

@ThEkRows1stcrYz Yeah, that was amazing. Machida surpassed a younger, bigger and stronger opponent such as Jones, who is also a top Muay Thai fighter, with brilliant technique and tactics. But after that terrible elbow to his forehead, Machida's rhythm drastically dropped. I was astonished at how he was still fighting with that horrible wound and all that blood.

Jones is bound to be a top MMA fighter, but Machida is still one of the greatest, if not the best, striker out there.

He's only had 2 losses in his whole career and all while using Shotokan primarily, while everyone else is trying to submit and use a bunch of different styles, Lyoto is staying true to Shotokan. There's alot to be said about a fighter who uses only one style and gets where he is in UFC.

He is Ryu. If they ever have a fight on Halloween, he should where his Gi and Red hachimaki.
