  • buuuuuuuuuu

  • I listened over and over again, sometimes with my eyes closed. On the whole, I happen to like the score. It's true you can do much with pro scores, but keeping things simple is not a bad thing. The visuals are so interesting they competing with the score in the absence of sound effects.

It is obvious you are a talented film maker and will strike the right balance when finished. Cheers

  • Hi, I would love to know more about your shot break downs. The camera work and the "poor mans" matrix rotations are cool for each other characters. I'm really interested in how you put that aspect together.

  • This was good, however The blood spurt was a little too large, and no sound effects? I was expecting at least some simple sword clashes. However The quality and camera work was brilliant. Great job.

  • The best part was the sparks effect in the eye, it looked great,,

  • un jodido serrucho? ke poco glamur tio xD

  • Hacksaw Vs Katana XD Epic

  • Perfect movie, very good !

  • All the material was composited in After Effects, meaning the green screen scenes and a simple background panorama picture...

Particular was used for the particles...

  • What programs do you used?

  • Great job!!!! :-D

  • Is Pro Scores Copyright free?

  • @ThatsBulsh it's all royalty free

  • jus ya gott pay for it ;) unles ya cop a torrent lol

  • coool !!!!

  • Holy shit... 5 fucking stars sir!

  • 5 Stars!

  • sehr gut 5*

  • Keine mayonaise!

  • Katana vs Hacksaw, a wee bit imbalanced me thinks

  • Great

  • not bad vid, but sound so empty!

  • how long did it take you

  • nice sparks but the music didnt sound too good...i mean with the pro scores u can make something much better ^^

  • 300 vs ninja

  • 5/5 FAV, keep up the patience...nicely done

  • OMG dude this is pro editing right here ...

I want to be aa editor when I get older I'm gonna start off small makeing halo 3 montages but dude could you give me lesson please?

  • Thank you, but all this movie stuff in my life is just for fun. All I can say about editing is to try and be honest about a scene, if it helps to carry the overall message or sense of the movie... It´s a lot harder to find a nice way of telling a story, than just the edit... As you can see, I´m also a noob on good story telling, cause it´s just some FX tests... Take your time with the getting older part !!

  • Wow, that was a good one! I really like the way you built up atmosphere in the beggining :P Sounds are ok too, but why is it so short? :(

  • Well, it was planned as a simple green screen test without any story... I wanted to do some more scenes, we did that in my living room... First the sword guy accidently fucked up my couch, and the other one got scared, because of the growing intensity of sword hits... It was better to stop, for the living room, and the life of the saw ninja... I was born in the city, where you did your CS3 movie...

    Viva Polonia !!

  • how did u match the background scene to the footage? was it a still picture, placed as a texture on an orb? or an elipse or something?

  • It´s a simple 360 panorama still picture, i found on google. I knew wich parts of it I wanted on every move, so I just matched it by `hand`... On this, I learned that it´s clever to think about the anchor point, because of the problems you get with scale + position changes together, which can ruin the smooth flow of the background image...

But maybe I should try just using the orbit technique next time ;-

  • i didnt quite understand your point about the "anchor point"..but anything with a camera could be ruined in no time! it gives me lotsa shit :$

Anyways, u wanna say its a still picture, that u DIDNT transform to a 3D layer? and u just moved it from left to right, accordingly, then? i dont get all u ppl who manage to match things by hand! lol..u got some talent\or some luck!

  • Yes, the image was about 3000 x 1000 pixels, and i just zoomed in and out, no 3D layer at all... And I admit, that with some of the movement I was lucky. And If you wanna try that image panning with easy ease key frames on scale & rotation you will get to my problem with the anchor point... Because by changing the scale, it also seems as if you were changing the position keyframes, but you´re not... By reminding myself, I feel like my hair is starting to fall out...

  • that was terrible...

  • wow

  • Sehr schönes Compositing und kinoreife Farbkorrektur.

  • nice sparks

  • Hammer !
