This is fan-TAS-tic - I have several Disconet 12" singles I ordered thru a DJ friend back in the day, but have not heard this one yet. Thanks so much for posting!
(My favorite two Hot Trax were Michael Jackson's Wanna Be Startin' Something and Laura Brannigan's Gloria remix)

so great to be taken back to my youth. I still think this was the best and most highly under-rated disco single ever released. Takes me straight back to the dancefloor of Heaven. Superb lyrics which really evoke another world, excellent vocal performance and beat. Put everything together with the lightshow at Heaven and this becomes the trippiest dance experience!
This is when the Manhattan Transfer delved into New Wave with disco overtones. I really liked it back then. I also am amused by their pink & black outfits on the picture sleeve for the 45, shown here.
This is called "Twilight Zone / Twilight Tone" because most of it is an original song ("Tone") but it also uses parts of the original TV show's theme song ("Zone"), as well as the spoken introduction which opened the program, spoken by Rod Serling.
this is a very catchy mix--if you play slots and find the older 3 bonus "Twilight Zone" Machines, this tune is whats played when you score a bonus--its pretty cool. wish I could fine the recording now!!
Esta música é simplesmente demais!!!!!!!! Um marco na carreira deste grupo Manhattan Transfer!!!!! Sinto falta do seriado na Tv!!! Fantástico este video!!! Show!!!!
@eagleswing44 they were in Montreal, Canada performing in an International Jazz Festival last month. I'm guessing they're still going around spreading their awesome music.
this song used to scare the shit outta me when i was younger but i loved the song cause i loved watching the t v show..i just had to sleep with the light on in my room
