This is, hands down, the best childhood christmas movie of mine! And it should be for all, because kids need to experience GOOD christmas movies, unlike these new corporate sell-out movies which were made by people like disney, who did have good cartoons back in the day, but turned to crap with "Hannah Montana" and all that crap. I'm sick of that. Just get the young'uns to watch stuff like this.

Personally, I thought it was very nice and touching to see Heat Miser and Snow Miser finally bury the hatchet and start getting along.

Mickey Rooney was the voice of Santa Claus again (the fifth time he's done the voice of this character), and George S. Irving, who was the voice of Heat Miser in "The Year Without A Santa Claus", returned to voice the character again here. (Wow! I had no idea that Irving was still alive!)

Snow Miser had to be voiced by someone new, though, because

Dick Shawn, the voice of Snow in "Year Without A Santa Claus", had passed away in the years between that special and "Miser Brothers".

And the Miser Brothers are such fun and memorable characters, aren't they?

They very much stole the show from Santa himself in "Year Without A Santa Claus", and so it's very neat (and fitting) that they would eventually get a TV special of their own.
