If the 2008 Republican presidential primary were being held today, for whom would you vote? _Rudy Giuliani, 35 percent _John McCain, 22 percent _Newt Gingrich, 11 percent _Mitt Romney, 8 percent _Sam Brownback, 3 percent _Mike Huckabee, 3 percent _None (volunteered), 6 percent RON PAUL HAD ZERO PERCENT!!! GO RUDY '08!!! Source - Associated Press
he's religious and pro-life(his personal opinions) but doesn't think the federal government should decide if the nation is pro-life or religious. understand, chump?
Anyone who bases they're vote in 2008 on religious differences or abortion is incredibly out of touch with reality. We're on the verge of war with Iran, in war with Iraq, Being raped by the Federal Reserve and IRS, moving towards a police state, promoting torture and secret prisons, moving towards the NAU and global government, and much more.
Ron Paul has the answer too all of these issues. But you won't vote for him because you disagree on religion and abortion? Thats insane.
dude, he is religious but he just said that the federal courts should not interfere with that!!!! did you not hear it or are you just picking a fight with faulty comments?
The way they try to set the debates up against Ron Paul is backfiring, it makes the people want even more, he gets to give just enough information to make people thirsty for for more, I wonder how many tune in to the debates just to hear Ron Paul's answers and are surprised to see the bios against him.
Wow, a politician who speaks the truth, I haven't seen that before. The cost of the war is two billion dollars a day! Think of what that could pay for here at home. That's our money! Most of it came from us as taxpayers, and because of a select cartel of special interest corps that are making war millions on the side while our young men and women die for their dirty profits! That cartel should be shot and hanged for treason!
No way he is awesome in debates. The only difference is that you can't prepare as well in a debate. The main stream news is trying to silence him because he schools the other candidates.
It's hard to condense a ten minute topic into a one minute blurb. Much of what RP wants to do is so far from the status quo that he has to fully explain his goals rather than just saying 'I'm for [X]'. I would really like to see the Straw Poll speeches shown live instead of the debates. Or at least give everyone equal time.
1. He's usually on the defensive on those debates as the hosts and other candidates are trying to cherry pick what he says in order to attack his positions.
2. The nature of the debates as one's usually improvising from a number of notes brought in.
Oct. 22 (Bloomberg) -- Asian stocks fell the most in two months, extending a global rout, on concern credit-market losses will slow economic growth. U.S. stock futures dropped.
Toyota Motor Corp. slumped to a 14-month low after the yen climbed against the dollar, eroding the value of sales in the U.S., the company's biggest overseas market.
if americans would just listen to this man, he is the only one that makes sense, hes going to win if we keep up the hard work. do what you can americans if we dont elect him we are doomed lets face it. please vote for RON PAUL he is the one and only true talker hes honest and fights for our rights go RON PAUL! lets do it folks right it on your money and tell folks about RON PAUL
Yes, thank ajwocd; tell your congressman to support this bill.
Have you signed up for the November 5th donation drive? 100,000 of us need to give 100 bucks. Please spread this word far and wide, we must fill the coffers with 10mil on Nov 5th. Iowa and NH have moved primaries 12/5 this is URGENT.
Yes, of course, all are welcome but we really must try to exceed the goal and to acheive that we need approx 7000 a day, from Oct 21 (today) till Nov 5, to pledge 100.
I hope that Values Voters and Family Research Council will conclude that supporting Ron Paul is the BEST CHANCE to defeat Hillary Clinton and all that she stands for in 2008. If Evangelical Christians don't help the Ron Paul campaign in large numbers, we are headed for a third Clinton administration.
If you SPEAK about unpopular subjects which have no winning side...all yoru gonna get is negative!

get a rgip on the Abortion issue...I feel betrayed already!!! TRUTH ~ Son of a bitch!
He's not for the federal government prohibiting abortions, he's for the federal govt getting out of the issue altogether. Then it can be resolved at the state-level.
I hope he wins...but I don't think hes' gonna get ANY of the mcuh needed middle ground now...doesn't he rmember the argument about abortions taking place no matter whether they are legal or not? His OWN example refered to an abortion which took place BEFORE Roe vs Wade!!!
At first it didn't sound like the crowd was getting it. Maybe in shock or something, then about 3/4 of the way through his speech, they seem to start to warm up. I bet anything that many who were in that crowd had never heard of Ron Paul and came away a supporter.
Are you signed up for the remember the 5th of November donation drive for Dr. Paul? 100,000 folks signing up to donate 100 buck to the official campaign site. Please tell everyone you know. I'm in! And hope you are too.

It is our money, but more of it is our children's and grand children's.
We barrow so much that there is no way will be able to pay it off during our lifetimes, Ron Paul or no.
Ron Paul as president will help though. He would be kept busy vetoing bills that came across his desk.

His oration skills are pretty awesome. It's too bad they disappear when he goes into the debates. Why does this happen?

The Constitution is the high ground for all parties (or the 2 that Giuliani says we've been doing well by for so long).
Liberals are great at civil liberties and conservatives used to be good at fiscal responsibility; the neocons are good for nothing.
Who is a neo? All the top tier candidates on both sides I call them PublicRats. :-) Ron Paul for CHANGE. :-)
