Read a book people. If Communism was fully implemented in the U.S. today, 99% of our standards of livings would improve. No more hunger. No more poverty. No more suffering. A communist party will never gain traction in America. What America needs is a European-style Social Democratic Party. The thing is, communism cannot work naturally, because it assumes that a particular human emotion (i.e greed) is an unnatural one. Capitalists try to find a way to utilize that emotion in an economic way.
As long as men breath, there will be greed. Trying to find a practical way to use that is key in any society. Communism simply doesn't incorporate it.

A communist party will never gain traction in America. What America needs is a European-style Social Democratic Party. It's the best of both worlds: support for the choice and competitive quality/pricing race that a free-market provides, and the establishment a large enough social programming infrastructure that no one will ever want for medical care or have to worry about having enough money to retire.

The thing is, communism cannot work naturally, because it assumes that a particular human emotion (i.e greed) is an unnatural one. Capitalists try to find a way to utilize that emotion in an economic way.
As long as men breath, there will be greed. Trying to find a practical way to use that is key in any society. Communism simply doesn't incorporate it.
