thanks cliff! for that shareware that was all I could afford as a poor kid in the 90s, haha tons and tons of shareware demos, but damn the sheer number of demos you could get in those days almost made buying the full version something you didn't have to do, of course I grew up and bought the full versions. IMO the game was terrible. The first episode was good, and the second alright, but then it's just a total mess. It's biggest redeeming feature is the music.

The biggest PROBLEM, otoh, was the game being unable to decide whether it wanted to be a Sonic clone, or I Wanna Be The Guy Lite. I'm fine with either, but the game never made up it's mind. The result was an incoherent, frustrating experience. Enemies are ALWAYS put JUST off-screen, and then it tries to give us mercy in the form of carrots.
