Is it possible to run this on a Macbook? From what I have seen it meets the system requirements, if so how would you go about running a Games for Windows game on a Mac?
If you have a Macbook (intel based) then all you do install install Windows XP on it via Bootcamp (Which comes with OSX Leopard) and then install Age of Conan. You can boot into Leopard of XP, but AoC will only run in XP/Vista. The above video was made using my MacBook Pro 2.4gHz aluminium unibody running Windows XP SP3 on a 40Gb partition.
It's not all that difficult, really. It's a bit of aggro setting it all up, though. In Spotlight search for Boot Camp Assistant, create a 40Gb partition (note: AoC is a THIRTY GIG INSTALL), install XP from your fave XP CD and then, when it's all installed grab your OSX CD/DVD to install the Boot Camp drivers (video, sound, netwok, etc.) and then go hunting for a virus checker as you've now got a bacteria growing colony on your Mac called Windows XP. Congrats :)
Macs are PCs, too. PC stands for "Personal Computers", and the scope of that term extended to the Mac camp, last time I checked. If you're saying Windows-based PCs suck, then I tend to disagree with you.
Is it laggy at all?
