This was my first triathlon and I have to say it spoiled me! What a beautiful venue and well organized event! And the comraderie between all of these women from all over the country is an incredible thing to experience. I'll see you girls in '09!

lol iron girl at first i seen last night but at first i thought it was another iron man movie and the iron girl teamups with him but it was just some boring show and i said so close!!!!!!!!

Why not call it like it is? These aren't "girls" and we don't have Iron Boy. We have Iron Man events. This is Iron Woman.

No...technically, we're not IronWomen- we'd have to do the full 140.6 miles to consider ourselves IronWomen. So- though I hesitate to call myself a "girl"- it gives me inspiration to be an IronWoman someday- held to the same standard as an IronMan. (The International Distance IronGirl event is only about 33 miles total)
