Everytime I watch these videos your voise gets way deeper... lol Good work on the engine, Good luck, But its not junna work, sorry. Though you've probably been told this.
dude if you want t6o make something of a working engine you have to look how other peoples engines work cos there are 4 stroke lego engines on u tube that work fine ,on vacuum or on copressed air
@p38light7animeportal i haven't a clue what year, the guy who gave it to me said it was found in a ditch when he bought the house... the carb was split in two, but other than that the bike was reasnobly sound. Glued the carb back together with some areldite and she ran fine (ah the joys of a honda engine! ). it's currently in boxes in Bucks as we took it apart to get the frame resprayed, i just havent got round to getting it back and putting it all back together again.
@p38light7animeportal I didn't realize how rare they were, I may want to put it back together then :P It was free off a friend, so I have not much idea about what it's worth, although parts for them are reasonably cheap off Ebay, and I almost bought another which went for £100 in about the same condition as my one. Also I would complain about you correcting my grammar, but I'm a bit of a grammar Nazi myself, so it would be a tad hypocritical!
@p38light7animeportal On my You tube page I have a video of my engine showing the parts of my lego internal combustion engine. In hindsight i assume you were refering to this video in your previous comment, it is just the way you spoke as if you were talking about the parts of my engine, I thought you had seen that video. Obviously not.
@p38light7animeportal the waste of lego's would be worth the knowledge that i had achieved internal combustion in a lego engine, whilst everyone else said it wasn't posible.... it would be the third time i had proved the world wrong if i managed it, which i enjoy doing...
well, its good to see that someone else has looked into the idea of lego internal combustion! i built my self a 2 stroke lego engine, which is much simpler and theoretically more likely to work. for all you saying its not possible: it probably is possible, but wouldnt run for very long as it would melt. However that is not the point, the point is you would have achieved internal combustion in a lego engine.
i see my comment was removed. well YOU HIT PUBERTY!! but anyways your timing is incorrect, it has to be a 2:1 ratio. using 2 of the same sized gears wont work, your valves will hit the piston. in a fake lego 4 stoke engine i made, i used the puny 8 tooth gear and a medium 16 tooth gear. if you can hook a chain up with those 2 gears, it might work, and it looks like you have no compression. try using a slightly bigger piston.

@p38light7animeportal ah, but there's where your wrong. i have both air intake and exaust pipe on my machine, i just don't show it on the video.

Sorry, the fuel will not work. I do a lot of glow rc plane work, and i have built jet turbines that run on propane, so I know a decent amount.
1. Your ignition will not work, you will need to push it every time you need a spark. The engine will not have the power to spark its self.
2. It has no compression, so it cannot compress the fuel to light.
3. You have no valves or exhaust, so you cannot keep compression, or block the neutral point with a shock wave from the exhaust.
4. its legos
