I'm a graphic design student working on a poster for a poster contest regarding social issues. Looking up what counts as a social issue on wikipedia I found "corruption", more specifically systemic corruption. And so I find myself on youtube, looking for senator or congressional corruption videos for inspiration.
I should state that most of the videos that turned up in my search have been mysteriously removed.
This is interesting and good inspiration. This will help me with my work.

I am the guy who you think sounds like an idiot. Can you please tell me what part of my presentation is idiotic and why? I was complaining about iilegal favors and protection being granted by Judge Lippman to a lawyer who's partner is on the committee that nominated him.
The lawyer violate fundamental rules and it was lippman's job to punish him for them, but the judge protected him instead, which constitutes official misconduct if nothing else. What part do think is nonsense?
Thanks. I gave up fighting this case when my friend and fellow anti- corruption activist Sunny Sheu was murdered on the orders of a Supreme Court Judge (appointed by Lippman) after being kidnaped and threatened with death by NYPD detectives of the Queens DA's office.
The kidnap and murder of a whistleblower is easier to understand than the case I presented against Lippman (which is pretty simple).
Please google "Sunny Sheu" there is a website devoted to his case.
Still, NO GOVERNMENT AGENCY or MAINSTREAM MEDIA VENUE will address the Sunny Sheu murder. The FBI refuses to collect evidence. Even WNYC and the Village Voice won't go near this case. It must go VERY HIGH indeed.
The NYPD has denied FOIL requests, and are about to be sued by heavy hitting lawyers.
The corruption in NY State is so deep and pervasive that it boggles the mind. We are living in a Thugocracy.
@willgalisonI used to go to NY when I lived in Boston, but my home is in Brazil. If I have a chance to go to NY anytime soon it will be a pleasure to see you there. I'm glad to hear that you decided to stop fighting this case. I had read about Sunny Sheu before finding you here. It's scaring, and the more you live, the better your fight will be. Will Galison is one of the best harmonica players in the world, I've seen him live and he's amazing. No question. But when it comes to legal issues, apparently he's an idiot. He wasted that committee's time. He had 5 minutes to present his BEST CASE, and what does he do? Rambles about some minutiae regarding the address of some attorney that appeared before this judge.. It came off like the ramblings of a madman. No serious committee would take that testimony into account. Sorry.

Registration fraud resulted in hundreds of sanctions and disbarment against lawyers in 2008. The ONE person in charge of enforcing registration fraud is the Presiding judge of the relevant department. In this case, that was Judge Lippman,
The lawyer Lippman is protecting against registration fraud is Leon Friedman, the business partner and best friend of Gerald Lefcourt, who heads the Commission on Judicial Nominations, which nominated Lippman as Chief Judge. Do the math.
Despite the CJN, the CJC and the entire Judiciary committee being alerted weeks before this hearing, the matter was never investigated.
This is election fraud.
THAT information is what the senators would not admit having received from me.

The people of the this planet are not ready to embrace the union of art & politics. I applaud you, Will. But as artists, our power resides in the arena where the right brain (intuition & creativity) reigns. I've told your story of the injustices you have sustained to many folks--mostly musicians & we are all with you. You are not alone in your quest for the truth.
