Police make an undercover drug buy at the house. They get a warrant to search the house. They go to the house and lawfully serve the warrant. The woman (who is at a house where drugs were bought) pulls out a gun and shoots 3 of the police officers. They fire back and kill her. If you set aside your contempt for the police, you will realize that the police acted correctly in what they did. When the police entered the house they Identified themselves as police. After that the woman started shooting. Then the cops shot back. They didn't take the time to see how old she was. And it didn't matter. She was young enough to pull a trigger.
if you research this you will find that all the bullets dug out of the cops asses were from other police issue pistols... they accidentaly shot each other, the old woman was unarmed, the house was tagged by DEA for having the bars at the windows and evidence was "created" in order to get a warrant from the atourney's office.

It was the homeowner that was defending herself, not the officers. They do not have to be fearful of the 92 year old, but they do have to be fearful of the gun, does not matter who is holding it. Police make an undercover drug buy at the house. They get a warrant to search the house. They go to the house and lawfully serve the warrant. The woman (who is at a house where drugs were bought) pulls out a gun and shoots 3 of the police officers. They fire back and kill her. If you set aside your contempt for the police, you will realize that the police acted correctly in what they did. I don't understand how anyone can sit there, look at the facts, and say the police were wrong.

For all she knew it could have been a burglary attempt or a home invasion attempt(which is was), something that is common in that neighborhood in Atlanta. This is the flaw in no knock warrants.

No knock warrants are allowed by the supreme court and the penalty is violating them is NOT to suppress evidence. while there is a right to defend one's homes, even with a firearm, when the firearm is used, you have to accept the consequences. They then tried to cover up the fact that it was the wrong address by having an informant of theirs say that he had bought drugs from there earlier in the day. There are plenty of good cops out there... these guys, however, should've never been given badges.

the police should have double check the address to make sure it was the right address as well as surronded the house to see if it was the right house shooting at the police was wrong was it justified that the police shot back in a way it was and in a way it wasnt officer have the right to shot back when being fired upon but do not have the right to enter the wrong house espeically without no warrent for that house therefore it is not justifed that the undercover officer did the right thing
