If I could I would get Microsoft to band the FASA team together and make more Mechwarrior games. These games will not EVER go down without a damn fight!
I'll never forget riding into battle in my madcat, hearing the heavy footsteps of my allies behind me as we charge into battle while lasers, missiles and gauss fly through the air, as metal becomes twisted with damage but still we fought on. Then as we stand upon our broken enemies we await the next battle. Thank god for mechwarriors.
not a bad video, there are some things you should consider for next time: let the video flow with the music (have build ups and cool downs in action go with the song.) DO NOT USE THE SAME VIDEO CLIPS MORE THAN ONCE!!!!!!!!, let sections of video clips flow in order, group similar things together, like explosions, ‘moving out’, drop ships, all this makes it look like you put some thought and creativity into the way you make your video, good job would love to see more.

@stupidwapdaggo Harmony gold is actively trying to kill Mechwarrior 5 by saying that they stole the Warhammer from them. Yet didn't they steal the MadDog from MW lol?
I don't think anyone has stolen the Mad Dog. However, the first line of battlemechs were taken entirely from other sources, with out proper (or any apparently, they said they have it, but they couldnt produce it) documentation for permission. Harmony Gold practically rides on it's Robotech series, of which they made Macross a part of when they ported it and three other series over to the states.

Yeah, it's another FPS, but I think this mod is going to blow away all the other full-release games FPS or not. There are a lot of vids on youtube. You should check them out.

MW4 really worked out to be the best for me. Back when you had to hack your own XBox controller and use controlMK, I made a profile so it played like the XBox version and it was a blast. But by default, the gameplay was clunk.
Sigh, I'm usually a fan of Mercs, but in your case I'll make an exception. I think my Steiner regiment and I shall go on a little merc-hunting expedition :P

I know Microsoft was responsible for disbanding FASA and it's also debatable whether MechAssault was a screw up under Microsoft's overseeing.
Well, I thought it was, but apparently it had great multiplayer online (MA1) and sold very well to produce the poor sequel.
MechAssault was arcade-like because it was adapted to work with consoles where keyboard/mouse/joystick weren't allowed.
Anyways, Reboot will be nice. So instead of hate on Microsoft, you might want to hate Harmony Gold, no joke.
