I am studying Evironmental Science at a local community college. it is really helpful and I was very appreciative to be able to watch this lecture from one of the best colleges in the US. Professor was very interesting and easy to pay attention to.
this lecture is brilliant, as an Australian highschool student, i really had no idea on which pathway shud i take for a career in climate change mitigation, but this presentation on Environmenatal law was very insightful indeed. Thanks to those who posted this video and i hope many other of my contemporaries can appreciate environmenta law and its increasing significance into the future of climate by watching this video. Thanks mate
I have an idea for renewable energy. Why doesent the government just stick a pipe into our hearts and collecet the energy that is used to pump blood around our bodies? If they can tax us to death why not just own us altogether? I am sure comrade Obama and his mindless followers would agree.
Thanks for the webcast. I am inspiring about going to Law School at Concord Law School which is totally online. Its accrdited 100% in Calif. but not nowhere else. Please contact me by email because i would like your advice.
I'm so glad to be able to see this, it gives me an insight into this course... because I'm still undecided if I want to apply to it or not. Anyways, cheers for uploading =)
Not bad - but it seems more like a "Save the Earth" lecture than a lecture about law in a top-ranked law school. How much was law actually discussed? Not that much.
Great teacher with a delivery you can understand. Please get her students a mike..is Berkeley not able to modernize? It kills her course...booooooooooooooring when the students attempt to participate because we cannot hear what they are saying.
Agreed but at least she is pretty tech savvy in a field where most professionals are behind the curve on multimedia presentation, network/FTP, and wireless device stuff. Professors and teachers of the future won't pass muster unless they understand these things. I like how she offered to cut up and distribute .pdf files over a network. Not bad for a musty law professor.
The style of teaching is really professional by delivery skills and voice. If she teach this lesson in Vietnam, I think that, the students will not have many time to write all things, only note some main words. Oh, please view the part of climate change, very good!
Thank the author a lot! And thank Ms Holly Doremus!
I think she is a very good prof. that she speaks perfect English , she has a good delivery skills and easy to express the subject which she has been talking about .
We need to go back in time. For say, we need to build old fashion homes with just candle lighting the home. We might be surprise who is willing to live in those meanings especially if the homes are sale at a very low price. In addition, we need pass laws one walking distance city up to 3 miles that these cities are not to be allow to use transportation because they are walking distance cities.

Every year 2,500,000 people die of car exhaust. And car exhaust is destroying the nature! We know how to stop it!

It's the introductory session for the first day of class. The subsequent lectures delve into CAA, CWA, climate change, etc.

She's not bad, in my opinion. But I haven't compared to other professors teaching the same subject. So I am not certain.
