The show is NOT about 'how people would react to nuclear attack.'

The show hits too close to home, (meaning it is all about 9-11 and the administration in control at the time--watch the series until its finale---it tells the public that the war in Iraq is all about oil! Look at the symbolism---the library/American flag burning in Ep. 5. etc. )That's why it was yanked from the airwaves. You're not supposed to "get it." and if it is too difficult to view online, then you won't bother.

oh man, this episode kind of ruined it all. I mean, several things. During the episode, it didn't even seem like a nuclear fallout had happened, after all the secrecy and stuff, the black guy just reveals his job like that, everyone was acting like an idiot, the cliche bad guy, I now hate all of the characters i liked. I felt like i was watching some drama show.

It's not the ICBMs you worry about. It's all the MIRVs that are inside them you worry about. They aren't that big and each one of the several in the missile is several kilotons depending on the size of the missile.

If you think this show is scary . . you should watch the movie "The Day After". Its a more believable interpretation of a nuclear war, and the makers say they were optimistic as to the effects.

In the first Gulf War the "Patriot" missiles were claimed to have stopped "Scud" missiles, but did not.
