Lionhead went overboard. They made the game a bit too complicated and ultimately failed with some of their ideas, which had a lot of potential. I can't speak for everyone here, but I did not feel "powerful" or a "connection" when I played this game, and I tried to. I tried to do what Peter was talking about, but it just came down to an upgraded version of Fable II, which is perfectly fine with me. The game was great, story better than Fable II, but it does have some major issues with execution.

What he envisions is that everyone that plays is the ideal gamer, that takes the time to build relationships with people, good or bad. He wanted to make sure that the game is shaped to be yours and yours alone, kind of like Mass Effect. I see the amount of effort they put into the game, but it just didn't work out. The graphics are beautiful, gameplay is really good, but the execution of some things could've been better.

I hate it when people judge newer games bad and older games good because of nostalgic reasons (i.e. fable1=best, fable3=shit), when, in reality, to someone new to the fable series, fable3 would be the best. I enjoyed playing this game (and I still do). I played Fable 1 and was addicted. I played Fable 2 and was addicted. Fable 3 is amazing! They have certainly evolved the graphics and the amount of communication with the townsfolk. I am also very glad the hero in Fable 3 can talk! (the hero isnt bad on the eyes also ;D) I am 100% looking forward to Fable 4!

I've played Fable 1 and 2 and they were good games but i was bored with 3 the moment i started playing it. 2 is better, maybe im all Fabled out...it just doesn't do it for me anymore.
Sorry, Fable's my favorite game, but Fable 3 is like Fable for toddlers. It's impossible to lose, short and with very few options. I guess it mainly seems like to creators just didn't have time to make the game as intricate. Another thought Fable Origins, or something back in time where things are a little more mystical.

Important Tip!!! This is for anyone who has run into the Jasper mute glitch, where Jasper doesn't talk for the entire game. I know how to avoid it! I took the time out to play a second playthrough and found that the glitch is caused by the "Gnomes Are Evil!" quest, after you've shot 10 gnomes. So if you don't want your Jasper to be mute forever, don't play that quest!

Fuck you Peter Molyneux. You bragged to us that the Angel/Demon wings were supposed to be a meaure of how powerful a character is and how good/evil we were(which made sense). Which meant that the more powerful you are the bigger your wings are. But now I find out that we only get the wings at the END of the game. That douchebag Molyneux overhyped the game and promise a bunch of crap that's not even part of the final game. So once again, FUCK YOU Peter Molyneux.
Did they not deliver on any touch/Kinect features? Sure I saw hand-holding, but that was it. Lame. Haven't seen a dungeon in the castle either yet, and I've already finished the game. Was better than Fable 2, but still not as good as Fable 1. Stuff is never as epic as you progress into the modern era. The following Fable games should go back in time to before Fable 1, to the era of the more epic battles and characters, etc. Bring back armour and the f***ing health bar! Ditch gayass clothing!

I enjoyed playing this game (and I still do). I played Fable 1 and was addicted. I played Fable 2 and was addicted. Fable 3 is amazing! They have certainly evolved the graphics and the amount of communication with the townsfolk. I am also very glad the hero in Fable 3 can talk! (the hero isnt bad on the eyes also ;D) I am 100% looking forward to Fable 4!

Oh my God... lies! all lies! Context sensitive my ass! all the ''a'' button makes me do is freaking dance with other men. Choice? There is no more choice in this game. Combat makes you feel powerfull? I don't fell powerfull cause you make me mash the same button (and attack) during 12 hours, I just feel raped, depossessed from my great memories of fable 1. Costum weapons? The transformations seem to be genuinly random. I wish I never played your game.

Sorry, Fable's my favorite game, but Fable 3 is like Fable for toddlers. It's impossible to lose, short and with very few options. I guess it mainly seems like to creators just didn't have time to make the game as intricate. Another thought Fable Origins, or something back in time where things are a little more mystical.

Important Tip!!! This is for anyone who has run into the Jasper mute glitch, where Jasper doesn't talk for the entire game. I know how to avoid it! I took the time out to play a second playthrough and found that the glitch is caused by the "Gnomes Are Evil!" quest, after you've shot 10 gnomes. So if you don't want your Jasper to be mute forever, don't play that quest!

Fuck you Peter Molyneux. You bragged to us that the Angel/Demon wings were supposed to be a meaure of how powerful a character is and how good/evil we were(which made sense). Which meant that the more powerful you are the bigger your wings are. But now I find out that we only get the wings at the END of the game. That douchebag Molyneux overhyped the game and promise a bunch of crap that's not even part of the final game. So once again, FUCK YOU Peter Molyneux.

Did they not deliver on any touch/Kinect features? Sure I saw hand-holding, but that was it. Lame. Haven't seen a dungeon in the castle either yet, and I've already finished the game. Was better than Fable 2, but still not as good as Fable 1. Stuff is never as epic as you progress into the modern era. The following Fable games should go back in time to before Fable 1, to the era of the more epic battles and characters, etc. Bring back armour and the f***ing health bar! Ditch gayass clothing!
