I want to add that when handling hyacinth bulbs, you should wear gloves, as they are toxic to the skin. Some people (like me), are allergic to them, and break out into a horrendous rash, which includes burning and itching. The oil from the bulbs are toxic, and also keep away from pets, especially if you are growing them indoors like this lady. If you have a curious pet like me, make sure these are up high enough so your pet cannot ingest.
