The footage of him with Goofy is priceless :) My family has footage of my brother as a then baby having George Jetson come up behind and start pushing his stroller and dancing for him and my brother then cries when he leaves XD How old is Elijah in this footage? haha Woody got completely rejected lol Woody and Buzz look like SOO much fun lol. @Joscelyne15 We took the Keys to the Kingdom tour a couple years back and they confirmed this. Mickey is the ultimate accomplishment for a cast member who performs as a character.

My favorite part of my whole Disney World trip was meeting all of the characters! They are all so lovable toward their guests! I am 33 years old and I felt like such a child heart when I met Mickey! It is one of the best experiences of my life and I hope I get to go back again soon!

@OMGmonstah my dad ran the heating and cooling for disneyland so i got to go backstage all the time while he worked. i got to meet all the people who played the costumed characters. they are some of the nicest people in the world. except for the guy that played goofy he was kinda a dick.

@misspinktink2010 I've not been to Disneyland Paris, but there are characters everywhere at Disney World. They do a really good job of controlling the crowds, and giving everyone a chance to see their favorites. Wish you luck on your travels!

We are going in Jan 2010 with our 4 year old, i take it you are close to disney as you have been several times? We live in Glasgow Scotland, costing us a fortune to visit but i can see it will be worth it watching your vid. Thanks
We live about 11 hours away by car, but we LOVE to go so we make the trip as often as we can.
I'm sure you will all have a blast, and your daughter will love it. If I had one piece of advice it would be to go at your daughter's pace. It is easy to want to go go go, but everyone will be happier with a daily rest time.
Actually, I've never seen them bump up anyone... wheelchair or not, in the character lines. All the character lines are handicap accessible so no special treatment.
Elijah was 2 at this time. He did great with the characters (as you can tell) but he didn't care to stand in line for the rides. We JUST got back... today! from Disney and he did MUCH better in lines. So... two was okay, but three was better.
This vid rocks! We're taking my 4 year old to Disney for the first time this year and this vid was excellent "prep" for her. (Mom got a huge charge out of it, too!) ;)

Character Connection at EPCOT, Main Street USA at Disney World, and the Backlot area at MGM are the main spots. Check the park hours guide when you get there and look for Character Greetings.

It's been a while, but I think it was back where the backlot tour goes through. Your best bet is to ask a cast member while you are there.

Actually, I've never seen them bump up anyone... wheelchair or not, in the character lines. All the character lines are handicap accessible so no special treatment.
