  • Sega's games are quite charming sumhow

  • what do you do when a pile of writhing snakes blocks your way? dissolve them with acid! what? i haven't taken my medication yet today? oh well.

  • @Ri3mannZeta watch the movie, then you will understand :) btw the movie is AWESOME!

  • this game looks pretty good

  • Didn't Frankenstein supposed to fight Victor and Dog in one-on-one fight?

  • Mary Shelley's Frakenstein> Every other frankenstein ever made.

  • MAN...THIS IS A SCARY & TEREFFIING GAME ;((((((

  • Es idéntico al libro de Mary Shelley...

  • why is he fighting?

  • It's funny that he can barely walk and limps all over the place and when an enemy comes up, he runs and tackles more than a bouncer on cocaine!

  • I wonder if the mutant was made by Professor Waldman.

  • this movie scared the crap out me when i was small, i was like OMGOSH WTF IS HE DOING TO HER CORPSE ;O

  • Awesome Music & Fx Sounds ^_^

    Nice Grapichs Too

Looks in the Same Line as Dracula

I Love this Machine Even 20 Years After It Release

  • @carlitoparadise This game actually came with Dracula in a double CD package. I know because I still have a copy of it.

  • @philiptwood So You are Very Lucky Thanks for Mention That :)

  • Hey guys, remember when Frankenstein's monster fights mutants in the movie?

  • it was called cdx adapter.

  • i never knew that this was packed with dracula. i got dracula for the sega cd. but only dracula was on the disc when i remember right. i had an european mega cd. but i played the us dracula with my action replay.

  • Fuck happened to Victor?

  • Such a good game, but hard as hell. No cheat codes either.

  • dis actually looks really good

  • You got further in this first vide then I ever did as a kid. I got so lost and confused.

  • The Sega CD was underrated. It had a lot of good games.

  • @spyder1138

I agree with you ,the game library wasn't huge but had its great games.Sega showed that they're not very good at marketing.Their system had great potential for its time.

  • @BulgarianPsychopath same can be said about the 32x and saturn.

  • @BillyCauseyjr The Japanese Saturn library was MUCH larger due to Bernie Stollar's policy about not bringing over certain genres.

  • If memory serves me correct, this game was ONLY found packed in with Dracula. So it was free. Not bad for a free game.

  • You can see the the inspiration that this had on resident evil and the survivial horror genre. Pre-rendered backgrounds, puzzles, emphases on getting by without fighting too much. The list goes on.

  • wtf this game is confusing if i played this id get lost in a heartbeat and y does the monster walk so fast outside isnt he supposed to walk like a zombie idk whatever graphics are good though

  • old school!!!

  • It sucks the Sega CD failed so hard. 2 of my friends had a Sega CD and the system did have some really good games. Lunar 1 and 2 were good. Popful Mail was fucking awesome. Sonic CD was probably the best Sonic game.

  • what was that monster you fight at the start?

  • do you play as frankenstein? Who was the guy that died, victor?

  • Oooooh! This is very different from the Super Nintendo version.

  • when you fight someone it turns into a fighting game!

  • Very innovative for it's time!

  • The monster walks like he has blue balls...

  • LMAO

  • IDK but I Loved the Book

  • i noticed somethin bram stokers dracula and frankenstein r both on sega cd and both suck

  • dracula isnt that bad really. They were excelent for their time

  • there were to many glitch in bram stokers dracula but tha graphics where good for their time

  • well sega Cd wasnt so bad as this game looks.

In the end the last word to the programmers.

And the engine of the console

  • Ok thats a point that its wasnt stand alone.

    Me Prefer nintendo too.

We know better know that Sega doesnt did it

into time because of Sony so its worse to discust who rules Console World know.

I dont know how the us version of the genesis was. So i can online talk about the Mega drive Cd and that was a week console feature.

But for the time it was a way to put the 16bit system to 32 bit.

Nintendo did it better with Rare soft.

Donkey Kong Series is best even for today.

  • That looks like SHIT!

  • That looks like Clock Tower...

  • What? you skipped all the fights. That's alright cause I remember that dog and victor to be really tough. Too bad you're going to use the chicken on the wolf cause I really wanted to see that fight. Thanks for the nostalgia

  • i hate the mary shelleys fankenstein movie!!!!! i mean come on robert de niro as the monster what a rip off!!!!!!!!!

  • it might be the news, because its interesting or enraging.but remember when it seemed bush wouldn't be elected?the south and midamerica are very republican .but the econmy, and a white person will vote for barack but blacks wont barely vote for mccain ..so idk..

then again anybody looking up frankenstein for sega cd doesn't know shit about politics..

  • well, I agree, but I think Mccain will win anyway. America is not ready for an african americn president yet. I do agree with hase77 though

  • Obama...

  • euh.. First of all, I wonder what my response about Obama is doing here..? :) secondly, I guess I was wrong.

And I am truly happy to say that Barack Obama is your next president. Having said that, wtf is that doing below a video that has nothing to do with Obama..? I must have been drunk ;)

  • haha dont worry men im not from usa its just a joke xD

  • Didn't expect that to go into a fighting game. Looks neat. Another gem on the SegaCD?

  • OMG I remember having this game along time ago. Wow nostalgia is kickin' in

  • fuck i never got to finish this game

  • I loved this game, get high and run through it, it had different endings if you did certain things. And the fighting mode was nice too.

  • ...has a Legacy of Kain I feel to it...

  • what the hell is this? victor frankenstein wasn't a mad scientist when he created the monster, he was a 22 year old grad student. maybe younger.

  • I never liked this game, the only thing good about it was the video parts.

  • Gotta love how the beast is tough enough to headbutt a mutant to death, but he's got to avoid the spiders at 5:28.

  • this game reminds me of Body Harvest from N64

    or

    Hyprid Heaven

  • the wolf always kicked my ass

  • i disagree... got both x eye and mega cd (multimega) i like the multimega a lot more than the x eye in fact im thinking of selling my x eye i anyone wants it realy :)

my multimega how ever im not gonna sell and i know people want to buy that one

got more chance that i trow my ps3 in front of a speeding train :)

  • never knew this existed. nice music. scary as resident evil

  • Will I ever find out if the monster in the game rips out Helen Bonham Carters heart?

  • The Sega CD was a Frankenstein system. I really got suckered by Sega over the years!

  • If by that you mean the greatest system ever made, ever.

  • lol funny how it doesnt stay true to the story

  • Refreshing that the protagonist you play in the game is the Creature. But I just don't swallow the scene where he battles with a zombie.

  • At the beginning, it was kind of like a fighter/adventure hybrid.

  • Reasonable game but an excellent soundtrack!

  • I actually had the same compilation double pack for my Sega CD (that is to say, JVC X-Eye which was better than the Sega CD on the Genesis). I miss playing this game, because my X-Eye won't work anymore. 8-(

  • I really feel sorry for you, I don't know what I woould do if my JVC X-Eye Didn't work.

I also agree with you, the X-Eye was the best system out at the time.

  • no way i like the multimega ( cdx ) a lot more and i got them both!

  • i can understand this story............

  • "Hot soup, My favorite!" Um, Remember in Young frankenstein? LOL

  • the movie is awsome, but the game... nah.

    i was like wtf!

  • after having watched all 10 mins and 2 secs of this video i am ready to give my opinion

the loading is kinda slow and choppy

the graphics look pretty cool, but i know sega cd could have done alot better but for some reason sega cd had a stange fixation on staying 2d? oh well

it would have been pretty cool too see a turn based RPG like this for sega cd, somthing along the lines of final fantasy 7?

    oh well

    thanks for posting this

  • the games 4 sega cd's r crappy like as if the makers dunt even put effort in it

  • this game actually looks pretty intence

  • would of been sick if they made this system alot more better. you know this is almost like a dvd game.

though nice music. sound effects could use some work. But their pretty good.

nice seeing a sprite game for once instead of those lame movie and button hitting games.

i would rate this game 6/10 but it needs excitement.

    backrounds could use some work.

  • wow very lame

  • Do you play as the monster or Victor?

  • I like how he walks/moves really slow (like usual undead) until he gets into a fight and then hes suddenly turns into Ryu from street fighter (proper fast)

  • 2-D Fighting elements weren't so great either. *sigh*

  • I have the SNES game. A little hard, but underrated.

  • Doesn't look too bad. The SNES version was a generic sidescroller where you beat up villagers with a stick and (WTF?) shot balls of light out of your hands.

  • I liked Bram Stoker's Dracula game. It got to a part that was really hard. I haven't played it in over 10 years though.

  • Deniro:

"Frankenstein, the villagers...I heard some things...I heard some things..."

"You created me? You created me? Who the f*ck do you think you're talkin' to? I'm standin' here...you make a move...you make a move..."

  • what is it a point & click adventure?

  • Oooooh! This is very different from the Super Nintendo version.

  • At least it was more playable than the atrocious Sega Genesis and Super NES versions, after having tried it myself.

  • I was always curious to see this game.

  • I have allways wanted to play this game.

  • cool!

can you please upload Bram Stoker's Dracula?

  • If he doesn't, believe you and me, he's doing you a favour

  • Hmm. You play as the monster itself and the gameplay is a combo side-scrolling adventure (overworld)/fighter (enemies). Cool.
